"

I recently moved into a house that had a system installed 10 years ago but was never used.  I also wanted some additional motion sensors and key fob.  I've dealt with the big national alarm firms and they always have some deal to hook you and then your paying far too much every month.  I called Smith and Thompson and was impressed from the start that their costs were set and there weren't any games.  I was given a price for everything I wanted and they set a date.and time to come out.  Their technician called that day to let me know he was available early if it would work for me.  I liked that he asked if I could do it early.  He installed all new equipment, keypads, control board, motion detectors in under an hour.  Professional and friendly.  Another issue I've had with other alarm companies is once you have service if you call them to make changes on your account you're on hold for up to an hour.  I called that evening to give S & T my permit number, someone answered immediately, took the number, and was knowledgeable enough to confirm the expiration date on the permit.  Overall an excellent experience.
