"This will be an honest review. Upon making a deposit for the project in May, it took a month the deliver materials to the day. The project took 2 and a half days to complete. My deck was off the second floor and had the rains cape/under deck material. It is about 180 sqft. There were three guys building my project. A month after completion, it rained and the problems began. The soffit finish on the underside filled with water and from the weight of the water burst open. I contacted Wayne right away. His response was that I would have to wait until my neighbor had his deck built for the guys to come out and fix it! Amazing how someone who has already paid is just shrugged off for 3-4 weeks. The guys return and trample through my yard to build my neighbors deck and reluctantly admit they need to address my project.. AFTER they re done with my neighbors project. I even let them stage material under my deck for my neighbor. They administered a quick fix and just caulked the underside. I highly doubt this with last very long and hope the guys are prepared to come out annually to fix the issue. I don t recommend hiring this contractor unless you re just getting a deck without the under material. Deposit was made mid May and they were at my house doing repairs in August. Overall I have a deck, which is what I wanted but the quality of work was not great and the customer service was subpar. There s never enough time to do it right but there is always time to do it again Thank you for reading my review!;"

"I am a senior with a background in construction.  After reviewing many contractors and speaking with some of them, I immediately knew I hit the jackpot when I spoke to Danny.
 
1.  He knew exactly what I needed and wanted done when I first spoke to him.  This entailed the replacement, repair, and installation of the items listed above with attention to quality in materials, prevention of future problems, a fair price, and a commitment to starting and showing up once the job was initiated.  Danny exceeded every expectation in these regards!
2.  I silently knew in advance manufacturers, quality and cost of exterior doors (including the french door), storm doors, door locks and deadbolts, leak-proof door sills for 6 inch exterior walls and a leak-proof barrier on the bottom of the door frames.  Without knowing of my preferences, Danny suggested the identical manufacturers and materials I had in mind.  At this juncture, we met and I hired Danny to perform the work.
3.  I am beyond pleased with the outcome of Danny's effort on this project.  As an example of his integrity, he asked me to trust him in the design and installation of an exterior octagonal window in a bathroom.  My wife and I were literally blown away with a handcrafted symmetrical waterproof tunnel and inside wall frame he created - more akin to an artistic piece than a window.
4. Inside work was always minimally invasive using tarps and soft shoes rather than work boots.  Outside and inside cleanup at the end of each work day was respectfully performed leaving no mess.
I would recommend Danny to anyone requiring any kind of interior or exterior installation, modification, or repair as I have seen firsthand examples of his experience, skills, and personal and business ethics.  In fact, Danny is presently working on costs to replace our roof."

"Painters arrived exactly on time and accomplished all tasks the same day. The manually stripped the deck and applied two coats of stain. They carefully cleaned and then painted the foundation concrete as it had got dirty over the years. They also scraped, caulked and painted a large bump-out window off our living room.

"I had a problem with his approach or professionalism. He volunteered to do certain things and I told him no. Then he insisted. I think he was unprofessional in some of his conversation. He was directly rude. I just think he doesn't know any better. He needs to work on his professionalism. I realize he saw some items that needed work. But I said no the first time. We can do without the commentary (etc. It looks horrible). He also left some equipment behind. I called and said you left some equipment (which was not a problem) where do you want me to put it because I won't be here. He reiterated what he said the last time. I had already told him No. We were not going to use him at first because of his demeanor and behavior. But his price was sort of reasonable and affordable. Again I can't say anything about his quality of work. But his professionalism. It's not worth me using him again."

"After receiving five estimates for some masonry work I was planning for my home, I chose to hire Mid-Atlantic Concrete Specialist. They were very prompt with answering the call and I had an estimate in hand the very next day. Jack was very personable and very professional during his visit. He took the time to explain how the work would be done and assured me that I would be please when everything was completed. I felt the price was more than fair!! We even got a senior discount. I initially hired Mid-Atlantic to repair my brick chimney and the brick steps to both my front and back porch. I was so impressed with their workmanship, I decided to have more work done to my home. "Project is beautiful. Porch is tiered and angles into the yard perfectly and matches a deck they built for us last summer. They also installed pavers and hauled away an old shed. Frank Winters is easy to talk to and has good sound ideas. He also is very responsive and communicates well when changing times or schedule. He has now completed 3 large projects for us and we will definitely be calling him in the fall to install new windows. He is very, very good...."
