"I hired Risen Foundation Repair for major foundation damage that was detected after multiple settlement cracks started appearing on our interior walls and doors. Yikes! Kip Sterling was the lead project coordinator and he and his crew did an awesome job of installing a total of 31 segmental steel pressed piers around the exterior of the foundation and 5 piers installed though the slab floor inside the home. Upon completion, all the interior cracks virtually disappeared overnight. Our home is now firmly anchored in bedrock on all sides of the home. It’s not moving anywhere ever again! Amazing job all the way around. They have a lifetime transferable warranty in place and the price was very affordable, considering the size and scope of this job. I highly recommend Risen Foundation Repairs for any foundation needs – large or small – as you will be well taken care of by their highly professional and experienced crews!"

"Derk came out and did a thorough inspection and made recommendations on what needed to be done.  He took measurements throughout the house and then discussed his recommendations on what should be done.  Rather than use the scare approach and put down other companies the way other contractors had done, he took a more conservative approach to fixing the problem and was extremely professional in explaining what he would be doing.  . 
He put piers around the entire perimeter of the house and when it was completed, the house felt good as new.  He did explain that leveling the house would not fill in the cracks that showed up when the house had settled but we had high hopes it would.  He told us to wait 90 days to fix the interior cracks and warned us that more cracking could occur.  We waited and did the work and five months later, we have no signs of any more problems.
The only negative thing I can say is that his workers left the area littered with water bottles but when I pointed it out to him, he had it taken care of immediately.
Communication was excellent.  He responded right away any time i had a question.

"Physical work at address went very well. Getting paperwork to document the repair is difficult. I requested the measurements before the foundation was lifted and the measurements after the foundation was lifted and stabilized. I still waiting 2 weeks to receive."

"Foundation work looks excellent. Crew very professional and cost was a bit lower then I orginally planned. Out of three pier options I picked the middle option, Cobination piers ( Steel and Concrete). Also very important G.L. Hunt gives you a Transferable Life Time warranty on their work so, lets say 10 yrs from now the homes foundation were to move in such a way that the home needed to be leveled again in the same area G.L. Hunt conducted their work, they would come do the adjustment and it would be covered per their warranty. To me, thats piece or mind on the well being of my home and well spent hard earned money. Oh, by the way...the crew hand dug the holes under the home, placed eight piers on one side of the home, leveled it out, poured new Concrete where they had to cut into the drive way, repaired brick molding on the outside of the house from the foundation "zipper cracks" (perfect cement grout color match on my 43 yr home, very impressive), back filled foundation holes they dug, cleaned up, and explained everything very clearly and it only took them one day - Amazing!!! I work hard for my money and unfortunately I've hired contractors, for other home repairs, that didn't end well. I expect what I'm promised and some call me very picky, I rarely give business recommendations due to the fact many don't meet my level of expectations HOWEVER; as of the time I'm writing this review, I HIGHLY recommend G.L. "I was losing confidence in the integrity of my home until Hercules stopped the settling of our slab foundation and reversed some of the damage caused by an uneven slab. Specifically, in my own living room, I was not supposed to be watching a 20 foot long crack develop in the ceiling and then expand to 1/4 inch wide. But on the day of the foundation lift, 2 dramatic improvements took place as the team of foundation experts hydraulically re-leveled the South end of the house. The wide gap in living room ceiling closed! A couple of inside doors all of a sudden latched for the first time in more than seven years! We feel like we can re-paint again inside, because results of painting will no longer be undone by future settling and cracking. Installing foundation support pillars underneath residence is no small matter, but after receiving 2 independent assessments documenting our tilted foundation I was confident that something had to change. We opted for a comprehensive one-time reinforcement of our entire foundation. Complexity of the effort by Hercules was significant. We not only enjoy a level foundation now, but also took care of long delayed repairs to both bathrooms in our residence. Broken sewer pipes underneath the foundation are challenging to access. For a foundation repair company accessing pipes near the exterior of the residential foundation is a practical solution."
