Dave of Alamo City Handymen gave me an estimate and discussed how the work would be done. He emailed me an estimate and I accepted their bid. Dave indicated that it might be a few weeks to get me on the schedule. I was happy to take his call on the weekend indicating that they could come on Monday due to an unexpected opening. The 2 men that came to do the work were professional, thorough and did fantastic work. They replaced the 6"x6" cedar beams and placed a metal footing on the concrete to set the beam on and trimmed the top and bottom. The finished job is beautiful. I am so pleased by their work and will definitely call on them again if I have other handyman projects. I used Angie's List SnapFix and they found the contractor. I LOVE this option! I didn't waste any time rummaging through a long list of potential contractors. Will definitely use this feature again. The whole process was painless and we got our needs met for our house repair."
