Ideas were shared and he guided us in the right direction to give us the best product. We used his ideas to modify our backsplash to give us exactly what we wanted. The installation was very smooth and organized. Once backsplash was set and grouted, Mike went over and beyond to leave our kitchen cleaner than it was before he started. Not only is Mike a master at his craft, but he is a great guy and very personable. Overall, all of our expectations were succeeded! We would recommend 2nd Generation to all of our friends and family."

"Whereas I like the carpet and flooring, the new baseboards were painted (not a good job) by an unlicensed contractor they subcontracted with. They did credit me $100 however, I was stuck with the mess. We had called after we signed the contract and asked to replace the baseboards in the room that they put the new carpet in. They did not follow through and said we never called to add that to the order. Being out of town during installation, we had no idea things were not going exactly as we planned. I feel the owner and staff are rather condescending. They had an excuse for everything. It was a frustrating experience."
