"I met Nick after another local outfit fixed the main shut off valve in my basement. The fix was needed after discovering that my water bill had unexpectedly jumped from previous usage and in the steps to determine if there was a leak inside or outside of the house. Because the main shut off was faulty that was the first needed step. The first plumber did indeed replace the main shut off inside the house for 550$. Being a first time homeowner and not being a plumber by trade I assumed that the cost was industry standard. After the shut off was repaired the plumber confirmed that the meter was still spinning and that the mystery leak was outside, meaning that I would need a new water main at a cost of 5300$ of which they would deduct the 550$ we paid for the shut off to be replaced. The price tag was way beyond what we could financially swallow with out a second opinion. Thats how I met Nick. He came out the same day to access and bid the water main replacement. 2775$ was the bid he gave and even apologized that it wasn’t less given the short distance to the house but that there are minimums on equipment which I completely understood. Nick was very honest and upfront about what needed to be done. I asked about a “re-plumb” of the entire house which was being very strongly pitched by the other two outfits that I took bids from. Nick asked, “why, is something broken or not working well?” In fact we don’t have any notable water or plumbing needs or problems. That exchange demonstrated that Nick wasn’t at my house to get my money, he was there to do an honest job and help me sort out the problem at hand. Nick did an incredible job with prep to protect the inside of my house and the clean up was as if he’d never been there. On parting Nick even said I could text him plumbing pictures/questions in the future and he’d help triage the situation for me. That kind of service comes from values that we should all aspire too. Nick is a now a permanent in my contacts list as Nick the plumber and now if someone asks if I know a plumber I can enthusiastically say, “yeah, I know a guy.”"

"This is the second time I hired them since they did a good job the first time when I had my deck replaced with pavers. The problem I have with them is that the workers do not know how to plant plants. several of the of plants died. I had to replant at least 5 plants. When I was replanting (one blew out of its hole on a windy day) I found that they only dug the holes just big enough for the plant to fit then plopped the plant in. They were very sickly looking until I replanted. Also, a friend of mine just recently used them to re-do pavers, she had her dogs come in stinking of poo. She then found a spot behind her shed where one of the workers pooped and left their wipes right there. They could have at least buried it or put it in a bag to put in the garbage. Needless to say it ended up being a job of cleaning 3 dogs and the mess itself."

"Micah stopped by and I had a pretty tight budget and he told me exactly what he could do for me. I was happy with our arrangement going in but what came after he was done was beyond words. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. The crew he sent out were what any landscaper would hope to have as a crew. I have before and after pictues and if anyone wants to make contact with me to see what they had done. Bring them on!!! Thank you very much Micah the job was AWESOME."

"Brett volunteered his time to help our kids'  school.  Anyway, he came over to look at our property and instantly had some great ideas, thoughts and suggestions.  He is extremely nice, friendly, and down-to-earth.  He listened to our thoughts, spent time canvasing and mapping the property, and then thoughtfully processed them into a design that he thought might work for us, inviting us to his office to look and possibly change some of the design if we wanted.  We were highly impressed with his responsiveness, his desire to make a design that we liked, his genuine nature, his easy-to-work-with-attitude, and his overall professionalism.  We're kicking ourselves that we didn't find him sooner when we had another landscape project that we hired out,  but if we decide we need help with our landscaping project in the end, he'll be the one we call. Highly recommend.

"When we bought our house the front and back yards were basically unusable. Aaron and his team from Grade X Construction were able to come in and execute our vision for under budget. They were a pleasure to work with and offered much more than just excavating. We needed a few trees removed, a ton of rock removed from yards, excavating and leveling for two concrete patio pours and a retaining wall. Clean work environment and never left for the day without making sure the site was clean and tidy. The team at Grade X Construction even fixed a fence for me which was outside of their scope and didn’t charge me. Highly recommend using this company!"

"Spenser provided me with a timely quote specifying the type of concrete, to include re-bar and how much concrete would be used. I also needed my walkway replaced and this service was also provided. The work was done in only three days. Cretec warrants my driveway for one year. If I need any more concrete work done, I will contact Cretec."

"They did a very good job, and they were careful not to damage siding or surrounding landscaping.   Cleaned up the work area each day, and upon completion left the area looking better than before the work started.   The best part -- no more leaking water in our basement.   I waited to write this review until we had been through a couple period of heavy rain.   Thanks Q!

Only reason I rated the price as "fair" is because the cost I was charged for the parts was very high, labor rate was reasonable."
