"Working with D&F Plumbing was an excellent experience, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again should I need their services. We called about having a tankless gas water heater installed and Joe H. came out quickly and gave me a thorough and fair estimate - there were no surprises and every detail was explained. We needed to have a gas line run to the heater, the unit itself, and the work. It was all upfront and fair. Joe H and Will F. arrived right on time on the day we scheduled and they worked all day until the job was completed. They treated our house so carefully and were really pleasant while they worked - they didn' mind our dog supervising them all day either, she didn't mind the attention either. We kept peeking at the work and both Joe H. and Will F. were patient in explaining what they were doing and they genuinely seemed excited with us that we have a brand new, amazing tankless water heater. They left the basement cleaner than when they arrived, the tank looks great, the exhaust vents are perfect and this job could not have gone better for us. If it was difficult for them they didn't let us know. After the job was done both Joe H. and Will F. spent time going over what they had done, the basics of operating the unit, and answered all of our questions. I am sure Portland is filled with plumbers who are just as good, I doubt you'll find any better."

The owner is so awesome and so graciously let us pay a 50% down and the rest upon job completion for our new tankless when he did not have to. I'm so thankful. "I called Henco’s after I had another company come out and give me and estimate and to look at our water heater. The first company immediately gave me the doom and gloom “this water heater’s going to blow up at anytime, you need to replace it today”! (They just so happened to have a new one in their truck) I said I’d get back to them and then promptly called the second plumber on my list. The owner was very kind and gave me his opinion without trying to get business. I asked if he could come out and give an estimate on repair/replacement, he had someone here within a couple hours. Owen was very nice and honest, he said our water heater was NOT going to blow up, but it was leaking (we already knew, that’s why we called). He didn’t push any sales on us but we asked for a quote on replacement. His quote was MUCH less than the previous guy and Owen explained the differences in the water heaters available. We placed our order, a few days later they came and installed it. The two guys who came were very nice and professional, did an awesome job and answered all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this company."

"David was very professional and skilled. On a Sunday, he responded quickly to my urgent request (water was backing up into my bathtubs due to an underground pipe breakage). He was able to identify the source of the problem (which was not straightforward), cleaned and fixed a broken exterior underground drain (with Nu Drain). He even identified and fixed another displaced drain connection, and installed a cleanout at the exterior of home. He had a very positive attitude (even in the cold rain) and stayed until it was done (while working in the dark). He was very good at explaining the situation and the work that needed to be done. He seems to have state-of-the-art equipment. He went above and beyond my expectations. I will highly recommend him to my friends and family. Would definitely hire this service again."

"I had a Clorox toilet scrub pad stuck in the toilet. I was concerned about the problem it may have caused. Nolan came out and look at the problem. He flushed the toilet a few times and apparently the scrub pad may have gone down the sewage. To be sure, he also used his endoscope to look at the outside sewage line to confirm the water is flowing smoothly. There was no charge for coming out for his evaluation. I really appreciate his honesty, rather than just trying to make a few bucks. Thank you."

"Superb. Our two technicians Michael and Christian were very thorough. We had a tricky dryer vent, which they figured out and explained to us. Our skinny townhouse is three stories, so they had to carry equipment up and down stairs, which they did without banging any walls. Superb job all around."

My furnace was a difficult brand to work on and get to the areas he needed. He didn't charge me as much as he could have for the extra time he spent. "We are extremely happy with the professionalism & work of Nick. We were impressed that when Nick & my husband had a misunderstanding about when Nick would arrive, Nick dropped what he was doing & came right to the house because that was the only day we had for installation of a new water heater. Also, it was a difficult install because of tight quarters & Nick did an excellent job, having to remove & replace piping to get the water heater in place. His quote included a water catch pan & water alarm, but because our water heater is in the utility room with a drain in the floor, Nick informed my husband that the catch pan & alarm weren't necessary & he deducted them from the bill.
