"I first utilized HCR in the August/September time frame. The sales rep., Robin was very pleasant. She did not come off as a high pressure sales person. We engaged in conversation. Her demo of windows was great. I placed an order an order for nine (9) windows to be installed. Due to the supply chain shortage, I did not receive my product and installation until January. Robin had apprised me of this delay upon our initial meeting. The installers were punctual and worked diligently. They installed the windows in one day. I did observe a rip in one of the screens. I placed a call to HCR to inform them of my observation. They said they would replace the screen, which they did in a very timely fashion. I reached out to Robin in September 2022, as I was ready to commence installation of the remainder of the windows, which in total was twelve (12). Robin arrived at my residence. She did the demo and I signed for the purchase. The targeted date for installation was set. There was a brief delay due to the type of living room windows I have - palladium and they are in two pieces. I received a call on or about January 16/17, 2023, apprising me that my windows are in. I set a date for installation - January 24, 2023, with a window of arrival time between 8-11 a.m. The four installers arrived @ 8:30. The immediately commenced to work. They put down a heavy covering for the floors and went at it until completion @ about4ish. I am extremely satisfied with HCR. As you can see, I am a “repeat” customer. I highly recommend them. I saw in one review someone said that they use unlicensed installers. Like any company, they have to go through extensive training and most individuals are not very knowledgeable about their job. They receive training ."

"From the very first contact I made with Michael, he demonstrated expert knowledge of structural roofing repair and home improvement projects. He was very professional in his work and interactions with me. As soon as I called him, he spent at least 30 minutes speaking with me concerning his work experience and discussing the project that I was seeking assistance with. He quickly arranged to meet me at the home at a time convenient for me even though it meant close to an hour drive for him on a weekend. He was transparent in his business transactions, fairly estimating the cost of the project and providing documentation of costs. At each stage of this project, which involved demolition and rebuilding of the carport roof, Michael kept me updated via phone calls, text messages and email. He was very accommodating in doing additional work that I requested. He and his crew cleaned up the work area outside the home at the end of each day. The finished project was great. To say that I was pleased and satisfied with the work he performed on the home would be an understatement. Honest, reliable, hardworking, Michael was the consummate professional.

"I hired Rich off Thumbtack under the Ironman Exteriors LLC name to do a deck and potentially a porch. The porch was an add on, kind of an asterisk to the contract, a few $k to the main job of the deck. Rich was very up front about cost and time expectations and his crew including JP demo’d an existing and built a great looking deck. The deck and railings were agreed to be all composite and PVC and they did great with the deck. Arriving home from a trip the porch was completed, last check cashed and dumpster removed I saw the porch was done and the six main posts were wood, not pvc, and still had shrink wrap on them with manufacturer instructions on each saying these posts just have primer, they need to be painted in the next 30 days to keep the warranty. Also, in my driveway was a flatbed large pallet that the materials for the deck was delivered on with scraps and garbage on it that was left behind. Large enough that bulk trash would not pick up. When I called Rich about the posts, said a I kind of expected they would have been PVC, like the rest of the job he said those aren’t readily available and would have had to have been ordered and wasn’t specified in the contract. Ok, I’ll take that, every other piece of material in this job was composite or PVC and every new porch on the houses we’re looking at around me are pvc, but yeah, the main posts on the porch we’ll go with wood, primed and shrink wrapped and call the job completed. I asked if someone is going to come paint these posts that the instructions behind the shrinkwrap clearly say is required and Rich says, well we’re not painters and brings up the contract again but says he’ll make it right, might cost a few hundred more. I said whatever man, just finish the job and get your garbage out of my driveway. 5 weeks later, I guess I subcontracted myself to be a finisher on my porch, 1 hr and $50 in paint, and garbage hauler to the dump. Short conclusion, Rich always took my calls or returned them. Just seemed like every time we spoke it was the first discussing the issues and a lot of talk on fixing the remaining issues and zero action. I mean if your crew leaves crap in someone’s driveway after a job and you get a call about it, you go out yourself to get it gone. Not wait for 3 calls and still blow it off after a month. A Bush League way to close out what otherwise would have been a fine job."
