"Work crew arrived on time. Two men were courteous and started the installation. The weather conditions were less than desirable. High winds and below zero wind chill. After the complete install they cleaned all areas including cellar and first floor. I would highly recommend matchless for any of your installs. From the sales person, to the pre inspection to the complete install. Five stars. "

"Tony is the most skilled, competent, and knowledgeable builder we've worked with. He is also generous, glad to share his expertise, and a genuinely warm person with a great sense of humor. His work is exacting, logical and precise. While he renovated the master bathroom he found time to add an outdoor faucet and electric outlet, a dryer exhaust and discovered features of our new old house we didn't know (e.g. an outdoor faucet hidden under the deck). He was great at explaining both why some work was needed and other potential jobs were unnecessary. From helping with planning, materials, appliances and their sources to providing a detailed cost breakdown in the estimate through the final bill, Tony was clear, careful and utterly professional."

"Beautiful work! Keith finished our log home exterior siding. He was reactive on the phone, very communicative, answered all my questions, gave recommendations, and was on-time. I’m extremely happy with the quality of the work he did. I would recommend him to anyone and I’m looking forward to work with him on future projects."

Romber Works is a small business focused on service and quality. Back in the mid 80's Ross Brown began to work on estates with beautiful antiques and incredible wood detail that is missing today. He began to copy the designs and the building techniques in many custom projects. Over time this turned into a growing business with many loyal customers. Ross listens to the home owners ideas, offer suggestions, present CAD and hand drafted drawings & finally create the perfect solution to your needs. Operating with two employees unless the scope of work requires additional support, Ross works with a few different contractors that have completed many jobs with his company. Romber Works can also work with your contractor, architect or engineer.

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Coxsackie, NY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
