"I have used Deluxe to clean my Persian-style Karastan carpet for 40 years. I wouldn't trust it to anyone else! They have always done an excellent job, including fringe replacement when needed. They are not cheap, but if you're looking for quality, they deliver. I highly recommend them. Note: price includes pickup and delivery."

"S & G removed our old carpets and installed new carpets in 3 bedrooms. Mike came out and gave us our estimate and showed me the layout of the carpets including where the seam would be located (by the headboard). After installation, the seam in the master bedroom was right at the entrance. We also noticed large scratches on the bed, the desk, and the door jamb to our bathroom. I contacted them and they kindly reinstalled the carpet in the master bedroom with the seam at the headboard as originally planned and removed the furniture moving fee. We are still left with a huge scratch on our bed and damage to the door jamb and desk. I suggest moving your own furniture if possible. The carpet itself looks great.
"

"Long story short, we just did a remodel on our house which included brand new carpet in the bedrooms. A carpenter then proceeded to put Thompsons Water Seal on a new barn door hanging over the new carpet... Ugh! So, Thompsons Water Seal + new creme colored carpet = huge weird stain. BUT, thank goodness for Mr. Peabody's, who came right over and got it out with a minimum of muss and fuss. Would definitely use them again!
"

"Work went smoothly. Originally was going to put sheet vinyl over existing floor. But with the size of the refrigerator, the workers had to pull the old flooring out. They did all that with no additional cost."

"I had a great experience here at S and G Carpet in Pleasanton! My sales associate was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She was very patient through my selection process, and even when I changed my mind after I was certain we nailed it the first time! The installers they sent out, Jason and James, were wonderful! On time, very polite, careful not to knick freshly painted walls and they obviously worked well together. They put in carpet as well as vinyl tiles in my office and in front of my back slider door. They did a great job. Zero complaints. I would use S and G again for sure and would ask for the installers specifically!
"

"They should have more clarity with pricing. The installer was talented but his bedroom manners left something to be desired. He was very skilled but condescending. The price was close to the competitors. It ended up being more expensive but we had to have a lot of work done with the subfloor. The sales guy was very professional but the installer that came was a B. I'd give A for the sales guy and B for the installer. I would go to them again. The pricing seemed reasonable on buying the actual wood. The installer was very skilled but challenging to work with. If your floors need a lot of work in terms of leveling out a subfloor, they have very skilled people but they won't necessarily be pleasant to deal with. You'll be happy in the end with the quality of what they did."

"Prompt, personable, and professional. Pardon me if I glow, but...
Sarino answered my phone call immediately. In this particular case, I didn't even have to contend with the voice-mail and call-back scenario so typical with vendors these days. He gave me a reasonable quote on the phone right away, so we scheduled a service appointment for the next business day. On the morning of the service, he called me to confirm, so I never had any worries whether he'd be there as promised.
We needed this service because we had just completed remodeling two rooms with bamboo hardwood floors and wanted simple, clean and quot;stretch-and-tuckand quot; thresholds in the doorways where the hardwood met the hallway carpet. Sarino was able to install new tack strips in the doorways, trim the excess carpet and pad, stretch the carpet nice and tight, trim it, and tuck the loose end into the threshold, snug against the wood flooring. In one case, he even had to trim the exposed hardwood and quot;tongueand quot; off the flooring (the planks used a tongue-and-groove mechanism for installation) so that there would be no gap, dip, or shadow between the carpet and the wood.
Sarino even looked at another metal-cover threshold done in a different area and suggested we could give it the same treatment. I wasn't sure it was possible because there was no excess carpet, but after examining it, Sarino was able to stretch the carpet enough to make it work. So basically we got a bonus threshold and he didn't charge us anything extra.
The result is three clean, seamless lines between the carpet and hardwood/tile. There are no bulky, shifting cover-plates to trip over, and no perpetually loose nail-heads to snag our socks. There's just a natural-looking transition. I couldn't be happier.
"
