"Jess helped us out with the huge job of replacing the entire sewer main pipe from under our house to the sidewalk given that our old cast iron pipes were corroded and kept getting blocked by roots. This was a 3 day job involving a multiple person team. We went with Jess given that his estimate seemed fair and beat out other competitors. The work ended up being more labor intensive than anticipated, as digging to the city sewer line, which should have taken hours, ended up taking a day and a half due to unseen gnarled roots and cement in the soil. Despite this, Jess and his team worked diligently, showed up when they said they would, and finished on time. They were courteous, professional, and very hard working. "We thought we needed just our washer drain unclogged so we called the company that had fixed that before, you guys. Guys came out. Under the house they discovered rusted sewer lines. When we had our plumbing redone years ago, the company who did those did not remove the old lines. Those old lines were up against the sewer lines and were corroding our sewer lines. So we had to replace the sewer lines. A broken line just before the city line was discovered so we had to replace that too. Anyhow, we so appreciated the kind workers who smiled and waved at us. They worked around our water schedule as we have a physically disabled adult son we care for. They let us watch all the things they had to do. I took pictures and the guys were fine with that. My brand new front yard was not ruined by trenchless sewer system that went in. And my yard looks like we never had sewer lines done. It was amazing. Yes, we would recommend you to all."

"Had leak overnight under BR sink and Chandler was 1st responder. Came out very quickly to repair/repair. Upon checking on leak evidence under house, found evidence of sewage &; water leakage/pipe corrosion &; we scheduled that repair for next day (different men). Job completed. Told owner that I want invoice detailing findings and work done, but all I received was e-receipts of totals I payed, ($220/$2500/$6000). He said he would send me either via email or hard copy by mail. I need for my house files. I am still waiting...but haven't contacted Ishmael Chandler since the 5/22-23/2023 job. Comment on personnel: Victor - great worker (fixed leakage). Mario and ? - Mario physically very dirty at 9a.m.) but very nice. Other man-fine. Both men very hard workers! "Had a cracked undermount bathroom sink that needed replacement, which isn't really something either contractors or plumbers typically deal with. Luckily (and surprisingly) Mike Counsil Plumbing listed this service on their website, and they confirmed this over the phone. Called on a Mon. morning...very polite and helpful, scheduled earliest available appt. Wed. morning. Arrived within stated appt. window, and provided work estimate; separate pro came shortly thereafter to start actual work. Proved to be a difficult job to carefully remove old sink without damaging granite or wood countertops, but the pro did a great job. Although we furnished the replacement sink, the pro had to take a trip to the local hardware store to get additional undersink mounts - something we didn't anticipate. Once installed, it became clear that the new sink basin drain was closer to the back wall; so, to salvage the existing pipe, he took an additional trip to the hardware store to get an uncommon short pipe adapter, which he didn't stock on his van. Still ended up having to cut the pipe stub down to fit the drain and P-trap, but we appreciated the willingness to solve the problem - solve all of the problems that popped up, as everyones setup is slightly different. So, the pro ended taking several hours to get it all done, and the labor charge as you might imagine was costly...but fair. But the end result was a new, leak-free bathroom sink, as if nothing had ever happened. And, as a busy person who values their time, it was well worth it. I never noticed their green vans around town before, but I do now - Mike Counsil Plumbing services are clearly in demand, and it's obvious why."
