"I called the 800 number and they were able to schedule me for a date and time that was convenient to me. I was scheduled for 1-4, and they showed up promptly at 1:00. Not only was the truck emblazoned with the company logo, the men identified themselves and presented their paper work as identification. Upon entering the house they took care to cover their shoes. The cleaned the entire house (11 areas) in about an hours, which included applying their deodorizing treatment.  As I have 2 cats, who do mark the carpets, I was very pleased with the results, which eliminated all of the odors in the carpeting.  In addition, not only did the carpets smell clean, they were obviously clean, especially as I have light color carpets.  In addition, the nap was brought back up, which make the pattern more visible again. Throughout the cleaning, the men took care with my furniture and belongings. <br /> An outstanding job by an excellent provider. <br />"

"When we moved in to our current home in '04, we had replaced the downstairs carpet w/ hardwood with the exception of one downstairs bedroom. We also had the upstairs carpet replaced w/ new carpet. After 9 years, the old carpet was definitely due for a refresh (can you say "dogs"?) and we decided that instead of replacing carpet w/ carpet, we would just go ahead and re-do with hardwood throughout. Also decided to replace the carpeted stairs with REAL wooden steps like a staircase is supposed to be. Needless to say, it was a pretty substantial project. <br /> Went w/ River City after receiving a couple of bids. Pricing was comparable and in fact, a little lower (but not by much). Tom came out to measure everything and was very thorough and gave me a good education on hardwood flooring and particularly with regard to staircases. After we signed off on everything and had selected our material, they called us about a week later to schedule the work. Step 1 was to deliver the wood flooring about a week in advance to it could acclimate to the environment. Walt, who had to haul in all the boxes by himself (wouldn't let me help) was very careful to put carpet pads down where he stacked the boxes. <br /> Next week was the installation. Now,  I can only give Walt and Derrick an "A" for punctuality and professionalism, because that's as high as Angie's will let me go, but if there was a higher grade, they would get it. These guys arrived on time to the minute all 3 days of the install. They worked all day with just a couple of quick breaks and were entirely thorough and professional in their work. They were immaculate in the clean up as they finished each particular area. When they left, it was like they had never been there, except for the fact that we had new floors and stairs. It's like an entirely different home now, and we are more than pleased with the result. Would definitely recommend River City Flooring and in fact, will likely call them back out next year as we have plans to redo the floor in the master bath. <br />"

"On 27-JAN-2021 we had 7 Pillars Carpet Cleaning perform the trifecta of cleaning projects in our East Side Louisville home. Lonnie (owner) and his team performed some much needed carpet repair and stretching, followed by carpet cleaning and HVAC air duct cleaning. This team worked hard all day in our home performing very professional work. The 7 Pillars team was very respectful of our home and furniture. They had very professional equipment that was used in an expert way to completely clean our home. We observed the 7 Pillars team working together for a very effective result. We appreciated the excellent job they performed and would have them back for additional services in the near future. A significant amount of work was performed for a fair price."

"All work was completed on schedule, workers were on time, worked very clean, and did extremely professional work - the countertops look much better than they ever did before. After the job was completed, I was informed that the total bill was $750, which was due to 1.5 hours of work over the initial estimate. I expressed my frustration, explaining that it was my understanding that the work was being billed by the job. There were no unexpected difficulties, so I did not expect the final bill to be any different than the initial estimate. <br /> Kristin was very patient and professional, explaining that the work was billed as a service call, and that I was being charged for the total number of hours in my home. On the estimate, one hour of work was quoted, which she admitted was too few hours for the job. <br /> I do not believe the estimate was intentionally low in order to get the job. I think this was a simple case of miscommunication - they understood this the work was to be billed by the hour, I understood it was billed by the job. Kristin was very understanding, and in the end we agreed to split the difference. <br /> I would use McDonald again. They did a top-notch job with the countertops. I would just make sure that the estimate more closely reflects the final price of the job. <br />"
