"I asked Stone Perfection for an estimate after two higher estimates from other providers. I found them here on Angie's List, should have started there. Their price was 25% less than my first estimate and 20% less than my second estimate. Not only was their price considerably better, the granite I selected with them was far more attractive than the other estimates which were based on a very simple basic granite. They were great to work with, eager to please. The work was done in a timely manner. The stone was cut perfectly for a what I thought was a fairly complex job. I have a breakfast bar top that I wanted extended wider than before. The brackets they used for that were far less expensive than both previous estimates ($20 each vs. $110) Two of the tops were angled cuts that were done perfectly. The installers paid allot of attention to detail in their finishing work. Could not be more happier with the results. Would highly recommend. <br />"

"L J Mitchell came out the same day and pulled up the carpeting where it was wet, put the padding outside in the sun to dry, and came back in a few days (after the leak was finally found and repaired) to re-lay the pad and carpet along with new tack strips of wood. He did an excellent job and moved all the necessary furniture, vacuumed the rug, sprayed mold repellant on the wall and carpeting, and sprayed Kilz on the ceiling to cover all the water stains."

"Overall, I am very happy with the work and with the professionalism of the crew. They did a great job considering this was not a plain vanilla kitchen counter replacement. This was a complex job and they were definitely up to the task. The job was interrupted in the middle because of a glitch in obtaining the new cooktop, and they were very flexible in rescheduling the work when the new cooktop arrived. (They were not responsible for ordering the cooktop - I was.)  The only thing that could be improved would be the communication. We sometimes had difficulty getting return calls. However, overall, I feel this was a small price to pay for the high quality work that was ultimately performed. I would recommend this company highly. <br />"

"<p>Solon Freeman came to my house quickly to give me an estimate for replacing carpet in 3 bedrooms.  He brought samples and was very knowledgeable and professional.  I was able to get my carpet installed the following 2 Saturdays.  The installers arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled time, had me check carpet to make sure it was what I ordered, and began moving my furniture.  They were very careful and really knew how to move it without any damage.  They pulled up old carpet and swept floor before installing pad.  I asked them to also sweep after pad was installed and they did.  After carpet was installed they vacuumed it. The furniture was placed back where I wanted it.  They helped me place covers on my mattress/box springs.  The same men came the next Saturday.  So, they installed the other two bedrooms doing everything as I had asked previously.  No mess was left anywhere after both installations.  Great customer service!</p> <br />"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"
