"JES Foundation Repair (A Groundworks Company) proposed a solution for my basement wall reinforcement, and waterproofing. I accepted, and a date was set. They did not show up and it took 8 phone calls and 24 hours to find out that they weren't confident in their proposal. They increased the scope and added 50% to the cost. Stupidly, I signed again as time was wasting and I didn't want to start over with new vendors. JES completed the work while I was out of town. When I got back, there had been heavy rain and there was more water in my basement then I had ever experienced. I contacted my rep via text (impossible to get through by phone as he always was in "Training" when I called). His response was " That doesn't look good, I'll make some calls". I had to make the calls. JES sent several new employees out and they proposed additional work at ADDITIONAL cost. Unable to get satisfaction from mgmt. Had another foundation company finish the job. Do not use!"

"The owner thoroughly explained the job he was going to do and showed the materials he would use. He called me himself to set up the appointment. His team was mannerly and each did his own job. The team worked well together and completed the job in one day. I was amazed! The owners, father and son, were here with the team the whole time. They even hauled away some items I wanted to get rid of and offered to come back to move things back into.place. in addition, the price was much less than I expected and was started and completed within a few days of the initial contact."

Josh thoroughly examined the interior and exterior of the home and determined that the leak might be plumbing related. Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. "This company repaired a leak caused by a contractor error. We paid them and submitted to contractor to submit to their insurance company. Service Today will only provide a lump sum invoice which insurance company will not accept. They must have their reason for not providing a proper invoice, or providing invoice notes as stated on invoice. Overcharging? Shady company!"

"4/29/23 Christian tech checks our our home AC. He notes the cooling coils are rusty, a source of coolant leak, and the system, at 14 years age, is near it's end of life. He also noted some mold in the blower blades, which isn't easily seen. He put pressure gauges on the system at outside valves and reported coolant pressure was good. System was test run successfully. He sold us a 1 year maintenance agreement. 6/2/23 outside temp reaches 93 deg. We turned on the AC and only warm air came out. Outside compressor WOULD NOT RUN. We had Christian rep come out. He said all coolant had leaked out. He offered a leak test with dye for $510, or replace the "rusted" coil for at least $3681. We declined. A Christian salesman later quoted a full system replacement. We had another AC company investigate. He found the outside valves HAND TIGHT ONLY, which would allow coolant leak. We had him pressure test with nitrogen over a 4 day weekend, which he charged ONLY a $149 service call. Starting psi over 300. Psi after 4 days over 300 psi. We had him recharge the system. He noted that coils are rusty within 6 months from new. We then had him recharge the system. Total costs with labor & visits both companies $1,595. 7/11/23 Date writing this review. AC working well, same electric power usage for air temps as prior years. Christian seems more interested in selling new systems. Giving benefit of doubt, their 4/29 "technician" was incompetent."
