"We had some peeling drywall paper and tape lines on our bathroom ceiling and consulted with HM&MH to assist with repairing the issues so we could paint and finish a bathroom remodel. We absolutely LOVE how it turned out. You cannot even tell there were issues and the ceiling is good as new. The work was estimated to take most of the day however Virgo was done in just a couple of hours which allowed us time to continued working on our bathroom that day. We love working with HM&MH. "I had used Old World Carpentry in the past for a major repair/painting job on the outside trim of our house. Therefore I knew James was the right choice to remove/reinstall an outside railing on our roof. James arrived promptly on short notice to remove the railing. After roofing and stucco repairs were made he again returned to fabricate and reinstall the railing which now looks as good as new. James also fabricated a kickplate for our new trash compactor which matches the existing woodwork in our kitchen. I would definitely use James again for any carpentry job. <br />"

"This pair of true craftsmen worked magic on my old but serviceable 28-year-old wood windows. Two casement &amp; two large fixed windows suffered substantial cosmetic rot in sash, sill &amp;/or brick-mold. Windows were removed &amp; completely rebuilt. The skill displayed in fashioning the intricate re-framing of the windows from 4â x4â stock using a table saw amazed me. They did additional exterior work, replacing rotted wood trim around the garage &amp; chimney areas. All work was caulked, &amp; repainted. Half dozen other contractors shied away from any cosmetic repair, each suggesting full window replacement. Work was done very reasonably compared to replacement cost, they look brand new. I thank God they came to DeKalb for us &amp; saved our beautiful windows. Prayers answered, they have our highest recommendation."
