"From the day we met George Wells to get an estimate on replacing our deck floor, we were very comfortable with George's home style approach to our project. He surveyed the entire deck, top to bottom, and assured us that we didn't need the amount of work we had anticipated. Less than 25% of the floor was problematic to be replaced. He went through all the decking and determined which parts should be done and which ones were optional. Of course, we decided to do all of the necessary and optional repairs to include an addition we had been planning for a while but did not fit into our original budget. Since we were going to do less replacing of the deck surface. that freed up funds to do the addition, which came out beautiful and very functional. We have been so impressed by George and his crew in all aspects of our project. From the estimate discussions to their arrival time, to the work ethic the crew showed to the final product, we are so happy with the professionalism displayed by all concerned with our project. "I have know Tim for several years. During that time before he was in business for himself we had a bad hail storm in Stafford and I received hail damage on only one side of the roof that faced the damaging wind and hail. The insurance company would only replace the damage side. Tim worked with me and I was able to get a total roof replacement. This was a big blessing. Timâ  s company recently replaced a dozen or so siding, on a three story town house that blew off from high winds. I was able to gather all but one of the torn off siding and Tim replaced all of them and matched the one missing one with a new peace. Great work Tim thank you for the consistent professional repairs."

The cost was reasonable. Kim, kept me updated with the progress of permits and HOA approvals. The construction crew was great. The deck was basically completed in two days. "With the exception of two cosmetic details that I accepted (should not have in retrospect), the workmanship was very good. Well-qualified crew with exceptional on-site leadership. Very clean job site. Reasonable price. A communication breakdown, however, drops my rating from five stars to four. Without advance notice or agreement, TWF billed me for work outside the contract (replaced decorative stones and landscaping fabric moved to accommodate the construction project). $250 for about a half hour's work by a laborer on site for another purpose who had completed his other duties. I am happy to pay for good work, and generously tip workers who deserve it -- which I did. But I resent surprises and unreasonable markups."
