I was most impressed by the young man onsite supervisor, Josh who answered all my work done, how and why questions. I wish this info was provided up front by the estimator. "Do not contact this company, and do not be misled by their professional appearance. The quality of their work is poor, and their follow-up warranty service is virtually nonexistent. I had major foundation repair work completed by EagleLift (now part of Groundworks) in 2023. The project included underpinning the perimeter foundation with more than 20 push piers and replacing approximately 50 crawl-space posts. Problems began on day one. Even after this costly repair, several areas of the house remained unlevel. EagleLift attempted to correct the issue but was unable to do so. The situation worsened after EagleLift became part of Groundworks. Groundworks has failed to respond to my service requests, despite my 25-year warranty being part of the contract. As a result, I had to spend additional time and money to completely replace the portion of the foundation where the issues were most severe. "We hired Groundworks CA (fka Bay Area Underpinning) for what we understood was a full foundation repair. We paid $42K. They only worked on the rear and never informed us that the front wasn’t included. Months later, while selling our home, a third-party engineer found $189K in unaddressed issues at the front. We were blindsided, lost our buyer, and suffered major financial and emotional stress. Groundworks later admitted they hadn’t measured the front. Their rushed “final inspection” months later felt reactive, not professional. When asked for a partial refund, they refused. We feel misled and abandoned. Avoid."

"The gentlemen from Davey's were complete professionals, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. They were very careful in how they handled the trees and my property and left the work site cleaner than when they came. The price came in higher than another estimate, but I think they were worth it. I had three previous tree services that did not do anywhere near as well, left the site messy, left wood behind, and they were not much cheaper. Davey's is the best of the 4 by far."
