"We recently renovated our kitchen and the contractor we used was unreliable, unprofessional and did a terrible job. Because we had a negative experience with a contractor we interviewed numerous companies before painting. We found John DeRose on Angies list and contacted several of his references. We chose John DeRose because he was highly recommended, seemed knowledgeable and was responsive to our questions and concerns. His price was competitive but fair for the work contemplated. We only intended to paint a few rooms but after Mr. DeRose started the job we decided to paint the entire house and garage because his work was not only excellent but his work ethic was refreshing. His crew showed up each day on time and worked more than a full day or what would be expected. Each day Mr. DeRose went through the house with me to be sure it was complete and to my satisfaction. When i decided a color did not please me, the work was re-done with a smile. If an area of a wall or room needed repair before painting, it was repaired without me having to ask. The faux painter used by Mr. DeRose was also excellent and very creative. The crew was very polite and each day they cleaned up the house before they left. "I would recommend Kenny from K&S to others in need of roofing work. He was professional, efficient, and reliable. Due to my own procrastination, my home still had broken roof tiles from Hurricane Irma, about 15 to 20 of them. My home insurance provider did an inspection recently and then sent me a letter giving me only 3 weeks to repair the tiles or they would end my coverage. Late one night this week, I reached out to several service providers through Angie's List. Kenny responded the next day and we set an appointment for the following day. When he arrived, he inspected the damage, we quickly agreed on a price, and he started working right away. He came back the next day to complete the job. While I received a quote from another company that was lower, that company was not available soon enough. "Absolutely, an unbelievably fabulous experience! If you (the reader) are a fan of HGTV and specifically, the program "Holmes on Homes," Bill and his company, in my opinion, is the Mike Holmes of Fort Lauderdale painters. They were that good. Everything (and I do mean everything) from beginning to end was executed perfectly. Bill responded to my initial call precisely at the agreed upon appointment time and explained in detail all of the work he was proposing to perform. Once I agreed, he and his crew arrived on time everyday and they worked diligently throughout the day. At the end of each day, Bill explained what had been done and what they were going to do in the next step. Throughout the entire project, his crew was cordial and polite and exceptionally respectful of existing outdoor furniture, etc. Bill Walde, owner, was present at all times; he supervised and participated in the entire job. All of the surrounding area was thoroughly protected in drop clothes and plastic sheeting. Small touch-up points which I thought needed slight additional attention were performed immediately without hesitation. When they were finished, my roof absolutely sparkled in brilliant white paint. This is the fourth time I have had this roof either pressure washed and/or painted during my residency in this home since moving here in mid-2003. This experience was so far above and beyond my previous experiences that I simply cannot say enough good things about Bill and his company.
