"Hector was fantastic, very easy to schedule and reliable. We were able to leave payment under or front mat so he could clean our gutters during a work day without us being home to provide payment. I especially appreciated that he took before and after photos to see the progress and communicated throughout the process. His quote was more reasonable than others in the metro Boston area and he didn’t charge us for a water flushing because he determined we didn’t need it after starting the cleaning. "JOB DONE WAS EXCELLENT - THEY CLEANED UP THE AREA OF OLD CEDAR SHINGLES; INSTALLED TYVEK AND INSTALLED PVC RAKE AND REPLACED ANY CEDAR SHINGLES MISSING OR DAMAGED AROUND THE HOUSE. BRIAN AND STEVE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF INSTALLING THE NEW CEDAR SHINGLES AND PVC TRIM ON ONE SIDE OF THE SALT BOX HOME THAT WAS IN THE SUN AND TWO GABLE END AWNING WINDOWS. ANY ITEM THAT WAS ON THE HOME LIKE THE CENTRAL A/C LINES THAT WERE OUTSIDE THE HOME WAS PUT  BACK IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. THEY EVEN PUT TRIM AROUND MY UTILITY BOXES A NICE TOUCH.
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CONTRACTOR! GOOD QUALITY WORK. WE FOUND THAT THE ORIGINAL BUILDER NEVER PUT ANY FLASHING ON THE CHIMNEY. THEY INSTALLED OVER 100 FEET OF LEAD FLASHING AND OVER 13 BUNDLES OF CEDAR SHINGLES. THE CONTRACTOR WAS FROM CAPE COD BUT THEY WORK ALL OVER  NEW ENGLAND. I DID HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO DO THE WORK BUT GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME BUT IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.

"Harold Giancola provided an initial assessment of work needed which was very detailed, noting current variety of conditions of the house's wooden trim, including pictures (sent on i-phone) of sections of the trim boards that needed replacing.  In the proposal, Harold:
(1) Explained the corresponding variations in prep work needed (ie., power wash all, caulking, level of sanding, painting all, and confirmed our preferred choice of paint;
(2) Provided a fixed price quote for the painting materials, prep & painting labor;
(3) Provided hourly billing rate for carpentry labor (very reasonable), plus lumber at additional cost.
Total price of completed job was 2/3 - 1/2 less than other bids received.
Harold was responsive, hardworking and efficient.  His thorough assessment and planning kept costs down and resulted in beautiful results, and a very happy customer!

They sent out contractors on their list. They don?t do the actual work. What they would do is schedule the contractor and then the contractor would not show up and then they would say we thought we called you to tell you they had rescheduled or something like that. The contractors sent the quotes to Top Notch and then Top Notch gave us the quotes. There were a lot of different things to be done. One company they sent out added something to the quote that was not to have been in there. They did not provide the insurance company with the proper paperwork that was necessary
