Statewide Remodeling was started in 1994 and provides interior and exterior home remodeling services throughout Texas. Since inception, the company has become the largest remodeling company in Texas and is ranked #18 in size in the U.S. by Qualified Remodeling Magazine. Statewide Remodeling's unsurpassed commitment to customer service has repeatedly earned the coveted "Consumers' Choice Award" for the past 10 years straight. Statewide has also been named "Service Provider of the Year" by multiple large retail establishments over the past 10 years. Services that we currently offer: ● Windows and Doors Replacement ● Bathrooms and Shower Renovations ● Roof Replacements ● Kitchen Refacing ● Garage Floor Coatings ● Custom Closet Organization Systems

"Poor quality workmanship. Shower tiles are uneven with jagged edges. Many chipped tiles, holes in grout. Shower head is shorter than my 14 year old son. Grout and caulking mess left everywhere with no cleanup. Wall texture by the shower is ruined due to over-caulking. Now they are refusing to come back to do it right. I will never use Home Depot or Statewide for remodeling again. No pride in workmanship, no responsibility, lies, just take your money and run. Shameful."

"We spent $8600 for labor and materials and it looked great. These areas are seldom used but after a year I noticed the carpet buckling in a small area and I contacted E Z Floors. I was told they would come out and fix it for a charge. It was a small area so I just didn’t do anything but now it is buckling all over the entire upstairs. I contacted them and was told it was due to the temperature in my home. That did not make any sense to me since we never turn our unit off plus I’ve never heard of such a thing happening. I contacted the manufacturer (Mohawk) and they sent out an inspector who told me the carpet should have been installed using a power stretcher. I was home when the installation occurred and I know for certain the installer did not use a power stretcher. E Z Floor is now ignoring my phone calls and has made no attempt to stand behind their workmanship. I must also mention that 3 months after having the carpet installed I had them install wood flooring throughout the entire downstairs of my home spending $16,650 for a total of over $25,000 and this is how they treat a loyal customer."

Quality Control Remodeling Is ready to take care of that honey-do list that you just don't have time for. We have very reasonable rates and very fast service. Save money on your home remodeling projects by letting us take care of the demo! Inquire for details.

"You have to pay up front before any work has been done through his website or phone app. And you pay for a set amount of hours. If it takes longer, you pay again. You don't get reimbursed if it didn't take as long as you paid for. If he has to travel to get a different part, he is on the clock for that too, even if he bought the wrong part to begin with. Seemed like he was learning a few things as he started installing some things, like the closet doors - he bought the wrong roller mechanisms and didn't know how to install a peep hole eyeglass - in fact he lost a part of the magnifier and had to go back to the store to buy another one, as well as the closet roller mechanisms - all at my expense. I do not recommend this company."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Cypress, TX

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
