"The Job: We had JP Co. of Centreville knock out and replace our old, deteriorated and very long concrete driveway (762 square feet). Same with the carport area (72 feet by 10 feet). They also poured concrete to replace the old pavers that served as the sidewalk (about 25 feet long by 3 feet wide) that runs from the driveway to our front porch. They also replaced a deteriorated brick retaining wall that ran along the carport area, which was about 27 feet long by 25 inches high. We went with a timber retaining wall, which was a little less expensive than a concrete wall would have been, and was way cheaper than bricks or stones. We think the wood wall looks a little "friendlier" than concrete would have (but it will probably not last as long as concrete). The work: JP did an excellent job in all respects. They completed the entire project in two days, and it all came out very nicely. They also cleaned up, leaving no trace of a mess behind. We got three bids for the job, which were all fairly close, but JP was the lowest. And I was impressed with their customer reviews on Checkbook. Our contact was Paulo Nicola, one of the two brothers who co-own the company. A very nice, knowledgeable and helpful guy who was happy to answer our numerous questions and discuss alternatives and prices with us. Highly recommended. Note: we also had JP and two other contractors bid on this job about 5 years ago, but had to delay it when we saw how expensive it would be. Guess what that accomplished? Instead of paying $12,500 five years ago, it cost about $16,500 in April of 2023. So, my advice is: don't delay your concrete job if you can avoid it -- prices only seem to move in one direction!"

"The team at Falls Church Paving did a great job replacing the driveway on the house I recently purchased. It was in terrible condition and they came in and gave me a great price for a beautiful new driveway."

"Very nice and reliable. Outstanding customer service. Looking to get a project done on time and Outstanding workmanship, then look no farther. I will be hiring them again. I been receiving Outstanding compliments on the Patio they completed. Thanks for a great job. FIVE STARS"

"Work performed was approx 170' of trench with French drain, catch basins, downspout and sump discharge tied in. Work was done perfectly and at a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire again for any future projects."

"We are so happy with our new concrete patio. They provided a quick estimate, fair pricing, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and delivered outstanding results. Highly recommend!"

"If you need a new driveway or concrete work, I cannot imagine it gets any better. John Boothe replaced our existing asphalt driveway with concrete, and we could not be happier. Mr. Boothe and his team did a fantastic job. He and his crew are clearly experienced and highly skilled. They arrived early on a Monday (during a break in the weather here in Warrenton, VA), removed the old asphalt, prepped the foundation, formed the new layout and poured and finished by 2pm. We agreed on the design of the new driveway ahead of time with Mr. Boothe, extending the width by several feet. He and his crew formed the new layout beautifully with a nice curve to the apron at the bottom. The grade appears ideal; the surface is nice and flat, no dips or humps, sloping just enough to carry off the rainwater. The lines and edging are all crisp and clean and the whole surface was attractively broom finished. We are delighted with our new driveway and I have had several neighbors comment on how nice it looks and inquire about Boothe Concrete services. We would happily hire him again for any concrete work, and we highly recommend him to others."

"Utimate Concrete did a Stamped Concrete Patio/Fire Pit for us just about a month ago and I cannot say enough great things about our experience with the company. Amazing design, communication, helping to prepare the application for the HOA, and we could not be happier with the finished product.  I would highly recommend!!!"

"Everything done right! American Custom Concrete gets 5 stars for installing my in-ground pool deck with stamped concrete. The estimate was accurate, the costs reasonable and the hardest group of workers I've ever seen. Job quality was superb and could not be more pleased with Daniel and the entire crew to include Cheryl and Melissa."

"Capital Paving installed a new driveway for me. They did a great job! I would highly recommend them."

"I met with several contractors before building my deck but went with RJ Fisher Construction Co .after Rick came to my home and spent a great deal of time with me explaining the pros/cons of different types of materials and design options. He also gave me a fair price for the job. He patiently waited to start the job during my HOA approval process and once the approval came through started the work right away with a crew that was on time each day and finished the project quickly. Rick provided project updates and corrected any items that I wasn't completely satisfied with. Highly recommended!"
