"Oh we can't say enough about Rueben and his crew.. the work was top notch and talk about craftsmanship, there is no comparison.. we were on a budget and they came through and made everything work. We had a sunroom and bath added to our h ome and we just love them. The crew of guys were always very polite and just a great group of young men doing the best job we could of imagined. Ruben was always on top of the job, making sure things were done right. He came every day to check on his crew and asked if we had any concerns. So on that note if you need any construction on your home or business give this company a call, you won't be sorry."

"I would like to recommend Scott Koester of True Craft Remodelers. Had I met him at the beginning of the water damage repair that was needed on my bathroom, it would have saved me months of headaches. Scott is a true professional. He showed up when he said he would, on time for our consultation, brought sample materials and catalogs for me to review, and understood what I was trying to accomplish with the repair. He also pointed out an aspect of the work that I wanted done, that I hadnâ t considered, giving me the information I needed to not make a bad decision. After our first meeting he sent me a guide called Remodeling 101 that was so informative. Again, if Iâ d had information like that in the beginning, I would have avoided some serious problems. He prepared a proposal in a timely manner that covered the options I was looking for and discussed them with me to find the best solution. If you are looking for an honest, reliable, professional with high quality standards and craftsmanship, you can count on Scott."

"esInitially it started out well but as is typical in this industry, things start to fall off.  He is able to do most phases of construction but prefers trimwork.  The scope of work that we had didn't fit where he wanted to be.  If it was a single job that he was being hired for, I think he would be good.  He did good work but we do a lot of custom stuff and that throws our subs off sometimes.  Super nice guy and I felt that he was trustworthy. <br />"

"Gary Hagerman made the estimate for the complete repairs on the day he promptly came out to assess my porch. I liked the price he quoted and liked the explanation he gave regarding what he intended to do. He provided me a written estimate with all tasks detailed and estimated that he could start the project within two weeks. He actually was able to begin earlier than that and called me to ask if that would be OK. He completed the porch inside of two days. The work and cleanup was performed exceptionally well. I intend to use this company again for other projects."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Dalton-city, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
