I found him extremely personable and friendly. You gotta like a person who has a big smile on his face. Jerry examined the sump pump. I believe it was the motor that went out. It was probably around 15 years old at the time. So, he pulled the old pump. So, he went to his truck and brought in a new pump. He explained to me that my home warranty would pay for a low-grade pump. I understood. I understood my home warranty contract. He then told him he was going to install a higher grade pump. So, I'm wondering how much that would cost me above my $100 deductible. I'll never forget his response. I can't remember it verbatim, but he essentially said, "don't worry about it. This is the sump pump you need for this house." Trust me... I was Wowed! Jerry didn't need to do that for me! But, he did. And, I'll never forget that. He immediately established know, like and trust with me. My wife and I have used Jerrys Plumbing ever since. They replaced my garbage disposal, broken internal water pipes in our home, a frost free outside hose bib, and most recently installed a water powered back up sump pump. That water powered back up sump pump really provides my family piece of mind. I've had way too much water in my finished basement because my electricity went out and my electric sump pump obviously didn't work! I don't need to shop around for a less expensive plumber that I don't know. I feel safe and secure with Jerry's Plumbing. He's my plumber for life! If I have any advice to offer it's this. "Upon responding to a call late in the evening (already a plus), provider arrived around the time he had offered,  Starting to look at controls technician new right away the brand and then proceed to check and test the pump.  Afer a couple of trials found that the capacitor was not working.  Luckily he had one in stock (another plus for the service) and replaced it.  While not an expert myself, not sure the cost of parts but the charge inheritly has an opportunity cost that is crucial to make repais.  Well done!

"First, Ira did a whole house inspection, and provided us with extensive education and recommendations to make our plumbing most efficient and our water safe. He presented all our options, many of them minor cost or free, even taking care of some of it while he was there. Our house has unique limitations, and he figured out solutions customized for us.
He wrote up all the recommendations, with no sales pressure at all. We opted to move forward on two items, repair of air conditioner condensation filter and piping, and to add a water filter and faucet to our kitchen which we wanted for our drinking water anyway.
Ira arrive on time for both appointments, calling to confirm on the way. Great communication. He did not rush through the job, on the contrary, he took the time to explain everything to us. The work was done well, and Ira was highly professional. I'd recommend Pipes and Pumps to anyone.
