"George's painting, inc was responsive and professional from start to finish. The project entailed wallpaper removal from 2.5 bathrooms and kitchen, repainting those rooms; installing a tile backsplash and vinyl tile floor in the kitchen; replacing the kitchen countertop; repairing a cabinet; repairing drywall and painting the ceiling in the master bedroom. The owner came out to do the estimate himself. He was accommodating when I wanted to expand the scope of the initial project and came out a second time to give me an updated estimate. He was easy to reach via cell or email. The estimate was more than fair. His crew completed the job in three days. The crew was polite, professional, and did a good job cleaning up at the end of each work day. I highly recommend this company and would use them again."

"Rob was courteous, pleasant and professional. They did a spotless cleaning job. He showed us pictures of the inside of the chimney from the boiler where the old terracotta lining was crumbling and starting to block the exhaust. Right on time 2 days later and put in a new stainless steel liner. In the afternoon I asked what was taking so long he said that the first liner they put in got a tear so they took it out and put it a new one, guaranteed for life.. I was blown away. Nobody would have noticed. I was blown away by the integrity. The brickwork needs replacing but I already arranged that for after the winter. He asked me a few questions and told me that the guy sounded like he knew what he was doing. Again, you can't buy this kind of work ethic anymore His partner Vinny was very knowledgeable in fireplace mechanics and gave my wife, pretty good at fireplaces herself, some excellent advice. His is a family business, his father taught him, and you get that old-fashioned small private business treatment complete with affordable price. "Jeff and his wife and business partner Kimberly make a great team. Kimberly helped us pick out paint colors and gave us ideas for sprucing up the fireplace, and for new light fixtures. They communicated very well with us, both via phone and over email, always getting back to us promptly. When they were ripping down some old dental molding along the top of the living room built-in bookcases, they found some old water damage. Jeff's partner Neil did a great job of just sanding down the crown molding a bit, and making this fit, so that we didn't have to get into the big project of opening up the ceiling. They didn't charge us anything extra to do the little ceiling repair job. (We are expecting to do a larger renovation later and rip out that whole wall where the small damage was found, so it didn't make sense to invest in a big job on the ceiling there right now)."

"All the repairs noted above were done to complete satisfaction. BHI also re-painted all the pediments and the entire front door casing/trim work. They wrapped the house from the second floor down and then sealed all openings with beutel tape. Repaired all my drywall issues created by the roof leak. Repaired all damaged shingles and doubled booted the vent pipe. Also replaced some shingles that were the complete wrong color. I trusted BHI to be there when no one else was, and I was completely satisfied.

There were some issues with scheduling and the weather, but when things came together, they were finished in a  timely manner. I would call BHI again for issues in the future."

"Wonderfully! The company worked with us to find the correct materials for a porch that was constructed about 25 years ago, sent a detailed estimate, and followed up with each interaction. We exchanged emails regarding thd materials and they really worked to find the exact items. They scheduled us within a week of acceptance of proposal, and completed all work on the same day when they came. It looks better than we imagined (we'd put this repair off for too long and, of course, it became much worse than when we first noticed the problem), the materials were perfect, and the craftsmanship was excellent. This repair will take us through another 25 years at least, it was better constructed than the original porch. The cost was reasonable for both projects. Everyone was very professional with the planning and follow through. I would highly recommend this company and I'm pretty sure we will use them again for other repairs."

"It didn't go very well for me at first. The person that was doing the painting didn't do a good job. He said he didn't know he was supposed to take the nicks out of the door and fill them in with putty and then paint over them. He just painted the door and the nicks that I wanted out were still in there. That's okay, they sent someone else out and fixed it and satisfied it with me. I had asked for the repair and the guy didn't have the equipment. He said he didn't know that he was supposed to fix the door. He thought he was just supposed to paint the door, not fix the nicks all over. The wood on the door had nicks in it. Like I said, they took care of it. I'm satisfied with what they did. I called them, told them what my problem was, they sent someone else out, the guy fixed the door, and now I'm happy with it. When I called, she sent someone out the very next day."
