"Unfortunately this provider does not service my area. I really wish he did. Even after he discovered I'm not in his service area, he gave me advice on arsenic removal and well rehabilitation. He is clearly very knowledgeable and is not just out to make a buck. He confirmed what I suspected--that many well drillers will tell you that you need a whole new well when repair will suffice. He said the only reason to replace a well is when sand starts getting through. I recommend him highly.
"

"Tom Kopec does the plumbing work for our condo association. We have used him for close to 15 years, and he has never disappointed us. He comes promptly and takes care of the job quickly, efficiently, and correctly. His communication is excellent. His work is top quality.
The work was not done at the provider's location, but we cannot put the addresses of residents of the condo complex on this site.
"

"Things seem to go well at first. When they opened the well head they learned that the old well pump had rusted completely off and fallen into the well. They said it was OK to leave it down there but when the owner showed up, he started talking about fishing it out for another $100. That did not happen. So they installed the new pump which worked fine for maybe 20 minutes. But it kept tripping the circuit breaker inside the house. They could not figure out why and kept pulling the pump back out and fiddling with the wires. Then it stopped pumping water altogether.
Finally the owner came back and said it was a bad pump even though it was supposedly new right out of the box. By this time, I had left for work so I did not see them actually install the replacement which I assume was new and of equal or better quality to the first one. I can't remember the brand name. After they installed it, everything seemed fine except we were not getting water out of some faucets in the house - mainly the kitchen sink and one of our bathrooms. The toilet and shower were fine. That is when they told my husband that is is common for faucets to plug up after changing a well pump and that we needed to call a plumber. Mind you, these faucets worked fine before the pump was replaced. But they told my husband that sediment or something gets in the pipeline and plugs it up. They suggested taking off an aerator and cleaning it. I am not mechanical and did not know what that was.
To his credit, the owner responded by phone to our complaints for the next two days and offered to come back out. But I had already taken off a half day of work and my husband took off the whole day on the day the pump was fixed. So the earliest I could arrange another visit was the folliowing Wednesday when I took the day off work again. The owner said they would be here by early afternoon and would call before coming. When I had not heard from them by late afternoon, I called and got an answering machine. My husband and I called a few more times later in the day and never heard back from them. I consider that the height of unprofessionalism to miss an appointment and not even call. I ended up calling a plumber who knew what an aerator was and promptly unplugged it. As simple as it was to fix, seems like the well pump people could have done that as a courtesy instead of leaving with me no running water in the kitchen sink. My husband paid them but if I had still been at home, I would have refused to pay until they got my water running again. I had no way of being certaint if it was the aerator or some problem with the pump itself or water pressure. I dunno. I pay experts to figure this out for me.
Long story, short. I will NEVER use this company again and this experience also has made me skeptical about how trustworthy are recommendations from Angie's List. Sorry but that is just the truth. I have too much going on in my life to have to hassle with incompetent repair people requiring repeated time off my job to try to get problems fixed.
If I had to do it over again, I would wait for the highly recommended other well guy.
"

"
We had Jim's Pump Service out to our house when we first moved in to rebuild our pump. He knew exactly what to do, so when our pump wouldn't work after power was restored, we called right away. They do not try and sell you something you don't need and will explain everything to you. We truly trust him. Excellent work.

We have a phone number of 810-687-2678

"

"Excellent. Two very polite young men showed up in what appeared to be a well stocked service vehicle. They quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the issue using parts to visualize then repaired it. They were in and out and did their job well."
