"The technicians redid the bricks so that you couldn't even tell they were repaired. It looked beautiful. They put in a new liner in the chimney and waterproofed it. They redid the inside of the fireplace to bring it up to code and put in a chain that easily opens and closes the flue. It looks so good and easy that I may decide to use the fireplace again. They redid the pipes in the basement so the fumes from the boiler and hot water heater went up the chimney in the correct way. There had been water damage and they corrected the damage and closed off the hole in the wall (foundation) and made a bigger hole in the correct place so that everything was up to code. They were polite, efficient and worked very hard to get the work done in the promised two days. I have interviewed many companies and found this company to be straight-forward in telling me what they would do and didn't try to tell me they were giving me a "good deal." Rather I feel they gave me an honest estimate on what needed to be done and didn't try to pressure me into using their company. They did give me 10% off because I was an Angie's List customer. What company to use was a hard decision for me because I knew nothing about chimney repair. Because so much of the repair was inside the chimney I couldn't tell what they had done. Based on my experience I feel they did a good job. I don't have a picture of the repaired chimney but it looks great--better than it did before the bricks fell. If someone wants more detail I can copy exactly what they did from the invoice. Also, maybe the company can show a picture of the finished product. Since it is summer time I haven't had any experience using the chimney but will let you know how things work out during the winter."

"The company showed up on time and conducted the shingle replacement being careful not to damage the gardens around the house. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. I would definitely recommend this company for roof work."

"I called Chelsea’s Chimney in a panic on Saturday as my metal chimney cap came crashing down during a terrible storm. Greg Wiskirchen responded immediately, and quickly came out to fix the cap so that no rain would get in. He was on time, easy to communicate with, and completed the job with care. I’m a new home owner, and he was able to walk me through what happened and also took care of things so quickly. While he was out I had him look at a few other things, and he provided me honest feedback, followed by a super reasonable quote for some projects I would like done. About an hour later I got a phone call and that evening he came by to assess the job and provide me a quote. The next morning at 8am, he was on my roof getting the job done.
