"Our home's 40 year old cedar siding was badly weathered on three sides. We wanted to repair or replace the siding. After talking with 5 or 6 contractors, none of which were entirely willing to meet our requirements .. I happened upon RuggedRoof and owner Scott. We decided the best approach was to replace three sides of cedar with a textured LP SmartSiding in color nearly identical to our current color. As part of the negotiations I wanted a detailed technical part of the contract listing the work to be done. This nearly caused us to part company in that RuggedRoof was more of an casual approach in terms of contracts (the final contract did all meet the basic legal requirements). After a short time, we relented and went with Scotts contractual approach. Interesting enough, once the contracts were agreed to, we did a walk around of the house and Scott actually verbally detailed all of the work that I initially wanted in the contract. Go figure! Anyway .. Scott was very professional and detailed, A few extra structural repairs were agreed to on the spot. His team is younger, yet experienced group of good hard workers. They all ensured that I was involved and satisfied. Scott touched base with his crew and me about every second day of this approx. 2 week project. Scott's equipment and vehicles are very professional looking. No rusted out trucks with bent ladders, etc. So .. bottom line: Scott and his RuggedRoof crew are highly recommended so long as you are comfortable with a somewhat casual approach to your project. It worked out very fine for us."
