"Beware - Patriot will not stand behind any problems they cause with existing equipment, no matter how long they have serviced it. Ten years ago I found Patriot on an app like this and have been happy with them UNTIL 4 days ago. Four days ago they came out to perform seasonal maintenance. The tech made a 'rookie' mistake (per owner Jake) which ended up making it necessary to replace a circuit board. I offered to pay half the cost. Jake refused saying he wouldn't accept the offer. WHAT? I'm having to repair my HVAC - which was working efficiently and no issues - at my expense because their 'rookie' tech broke something? This is not the way to do business. Please cancel my service contract and refund my money. Interesting question at the end of this review: 'would you hire them again?' H*** NO"

"Cory of Johnson County Appliance, Inc. is awesome. The unit was under extended warranty from Home Depot and the first company (Diamond) sent a repairman that was awful - came twice without fixing the unit. After I called Whirlpool Service and complained, they sent Cory who is not affiliated with Diamond. Cory diagnosed the problem, order the correct part, and once the part arrived, installed it in 30 minutes or less. HE DID A FANTASTIC JOB, FIXED MY PROBLEM AND WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL! I can't say enough nice things about him. His phone number is 913.631.5222. Call him for appliance repair in the Kansas City area!"

"My mower wouldn’t start and after calling several places, decided to take my mower to Brent. Luckily, it just needed a new spark plug. Got a tuneup and was able to pick up in one day. I saw on his page I’d need to have my own filter so I had that ready to go when I picked up. You will need to be able to load and unload your mower, if that’s a consideration for anyone reading this."

"Excellent job. Al quickly isolated the issue to a clogged pilot light and repaired. He was meticulous in cleaning, properly arranging the gas logs and leaving the fireplace looking like new. He also advised me on our other gas fireplace which was very much appreciated."

"They installed the RUUD unit in May 2020. Bi-annual service (maintenance) was May 2025. Now 4monthes later they arrived on a Saturday after 1pm for an appointment made before 8am on the previous Wednesday. I told the technician I was confident in the problem being a failed capacitor and was correct...the part covered under the ten year warranty but I got charged $320.00... and that was with "loyalty " discount. "
