"The front of our home is frame construction, the sides and rear are concrete block. A 2 man crew showed up every day and worked a full day. Area was cleaned every evening. New Plywood and house "wrap" were installed covering the entire project before new siding was added. It is not a stretch to call these guys Craftsmen. The result is an excellent installation, makes the house look new. Total of 5 days to complete project. No complaints."

"Cement skirting was falling apart, and we decided to replace with vinyl skirting. Asdrubal gave us a very competitive quote and 3 other contractors were much higher. After the work was started, he discovered that the framing was rusted and had to be replaced which raised the price a little bit, but not bad. I would give 4.5 stars because of some communication challenges, but he always clarified before proceeding and I am happy with the work that was done. "Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
