His crew did one day of prep work consisting of digging out crumbled/cracked areas and edging the entire 300' driveway. My driveway was larger than the 150 square feet allowed for the $1400.00 deal; and I wanted it widened a bit so the cost was more. Laying concrete has to be scheduled for when the concrete company can deliver so it was delayed a couple of days which was fine as the weather cooled off. William and his men arrived at the scheduled time, double-checked the frame for accuracy and did a fine job. The new driveway looks great. Yes, I would use them again."

"I received estimates from 5 contractors, some for timber replacement, some for block. A natural look was important to me, and I seriously considered timber, but timber today won't last 30 years (due to restrictions on using arsenic). The Solid Brick Contracting initial bid was pretty much the same price as timber, and acceptable in anyone's book, but when I told Oscar I was leaning toward timber because of the more natural look, he showed me the stacked stone EP Henry product. I have 2 other stacked stone and mortared stacked stone walls, and looking at photos, I thought the EP Henry product might actually look pretty good, even against those, and it does. There were some rain delays, but workmanship, design, professionalism, were all excellent. No cost over-run, and they had the proper equipment for the job. What exceeded expectations was the beautiful long sweep of a gently curved wall. Can't do that with timber. It was a substantial project, but I am really happy with the result."
