Unlike other service providers that we called, even the person I spoke to on the phone to try to explain the issue was helpful, polite, and informative. As it was hot, with a lot of service calls, they scheduled an "overtime call" for the next day. The technician arrived exactly on time, and was also very polite and professional. He fixed the capacitor and then looked at the A/C unit for other things that might be causing the problem (of the random flickering lights when in use, not just at start up). He did not find any electrical or other issues. I also asked the technician if the unit was "on its last legs" as about a year ago, a different company told us we would need to buy a new one. The Rob-Mor technician stated that while the unit was old, that it appeared to be in good working order, and we would not necessarily need a new one right away. What a relief!
