"The first time I used Rock Creek Roofing and Construction was for the electric line install from my house to the new shop I had built. They did a great job and I haven’t had a bit of trouble. They also tore out and installed carpet for my whole house. They were quick and clean taking all the old carpet and cleaning up scraps. The job was complete in just a day and a half. The biggest job Rock Creek Roofing and Construction has done for me is replacing my roof and siding on my new shop. The crew came in and took the old shingles off and started replacing them on the first day. They were able to finish putting the new shingles on and cleaning up the next morning. Most of which was cleaning up and making sure there were no nails or shingles on the ground. The gutters and siding on my new shop had hail damage and had to be replaced. "Kevin came out to give us an estimate for new windows and my husband hired him on the spot. We told him that we wanted to get new gutters and gutter covers, but he told us to get our insurance company to look at our roof first before we discuss gutters, because from what he saw there was some damage. He did not even want to discuss gutters, so we booked him for the windows. We ended up getting a new roof and new gutters from our insurance company that they installed for us and they all look great. Bordner was so patient and Kevin worked with us while we kept waiting for our insurance company to release the rest of our money. He also helped us get the best rate for our windows from a reliable loan company. The is the first winter since being in our house where our Furnace is not constantly running, and we do not have to put plastic over our toddler windows. I love my big windows in the dining room and living room, they are so awesome. I also love how the windows are made for each customer specifically. There was a tiny hole in one of our master bedroom screens and when they messaged to see how everything was done they sent someone out to replace it. It was really just a tiny hole and I told them it was no big deal right now, but someone came out within a couple of days and gave us a new one. The roof is the perfect coke and matches the gutters so nicely. The gutters work so seamlessly now the water is not overflowing onto our windows because they do not flow right. Everything is so nice."

"Joe Zuver and his crew did a fantastic job of replacing almost all of the windows, and all of the old worn out cedar shake shingles on my father-in-law's house.  This was a large job with over 30 squares of siding, and 6 large Anderson double-hung windows, replacement of  rotted out trim, a layer of foam insulation under the Certainteed Cedar Impressions siding, aluminum wrapping of all the fascia boards, and many other small details.  Joe came to the house several times to make sure his estimates were accurate prior to starting the job.  At no time did Joe ever put any pressure to buy anything or to use his company.  He was courteous, professional, and very accommodating to us and what we wanted to have done.   His crew worked many long days for almost two weeks from morning until almost dark and the job was completed as promised.  All leftover materials and trash were picked up every day, and placed in a dumpster which was hauled away after they finished.  All along the way,  Joe or one of his foremen kept all of us informed as to when the work would begin and what order each step would be completed.  The job was completed in two weeks and my father-in-law could not have been happier with the results.  Joe's final cost was many thousand dollars less than several other company's bids, but I am certain he did a much better job than what we would have gotten from these other companies.  I would have absolutely no hesitation to highly recommend his company to anyone.  If other home remodeling companies performed their work in  the same fashion as Joe Zuver, there would be fewer complaints about them.  Thanks Joe for a job well done."

"In mid-May, I had a salesperson come to my home to get a quote on the repair of siding around different parts of my home, as well as a couple windows to be replaced. This went fine and was quoted a certain amount with 1) the understanding that I would be told if they found more bad siding to let me know and 2) to use my paint so it would match. I paid my 10% and was
told it would be about 6 weeks before they would get to my home.  I purchased about $100 dollars of the exact paint color for the workers once the time came.
I had contacted the company in June to let them know that we would be out for about 2 weeks in July on vacation and told them the date ranges. A week before we left on vacation, I contacted them again to let them know and was told they would let the job supervisor know.
The day I left for vacation, I was notified that they were at my home and ready to begin work. I told them that this wouldn?t be possible until I returned.
Forward to mid-August. Again I had workers show up unannounced at our home to begin work. I was fine with it, but would have
preferred an alert a few days prior.
Monday, the first day of work, the workers fixed the siding on one part of the home.
Day two, it rained and no one had shown up at all.
Day three, old windows pulled and replaced, more siding repaired/replaced. In the evening of day three, I noticed soft siding on the one side that should have been replaced. Additionally, I had some trim inside my home broken during the replacement of the old windows. I left a message with company with my concerns.
On day four, a supervisor came by my home in the evening, looked at the windows (which were very loose on the inside), the trim, and the siding. He said the trim and windows would be fixed and threw out a price for the additional siding. I was more than happy to have the additional siding fixed and was fine with the quoted cost. I was told people would be at my home
Friday and Saturday to get the job finished.
On day five, a single worker had shown up to replace the soft panels on the side of my home and dress the front windows.  After he left, I noticed the window trim outside looked terrible, dented and stained.
Day six, Saturday, no one had shown in the morning. I received a call from another person later that morning. He told me he would be coming by to check out the windows later in the afternoon. He did show at the scheduled time, checked out the windows and looked dissatisfied with the work that was done. He adjusted the windows and they were finally working like they
should. They seem to be great windows. He looked at the trim outside around the windows and said it didn?t look good and was going to have someone fix it the next week.
On Monday, day seven, the painters had shown up at my home around 2:30. They caulked, painted, and fixed the trim around the windows. I noticed later that evening that the paint I provided them was not used at all. They had taken a chip of my old paint and had it matched. They proceeded to paint with that color. It was slightly off and very noticeable. I told them in a phone call that evening that it was the wrong paint, even though my wife had pointed out the paint to the painters when they arrived. Instead of going by what the contract had stated and what they had been told two times verbally, they still painted it incorrectly. They promised to paint it again but use my paint.
On Tuesday, day eight, they had painted the outside with the correct paint and fixed the trim in my home. At this point, I was told someone would show on Wednesday around 5:30 to collect, which I was fine with.
No one came by on Wednesday at all.
On Thursday, I was finally contacted. I paid the gentleman that arrived at my home and let him know what I ran into during this job. It was primarily communication that was my biggest issue. No one seemed to know what others were doing and some of the worker skills weren?t as good as what I would have expected.  He discounted my total a bit and was on his way. He didn?t disagree with me but it seemed like he may be going through this type of scenario more often than he wanted to.
A couple days later, I went to paint a big on one of the rooms where trim was replaced. The trim was not installed as well as I would have expected and had a few broken parts that I wouldn?t have caught had I not been on a ladder. I repaired them myself and proceeded with the painting.
Overall, I don?t think I could go with this company again based upon my experience. It?s a bit stressful when something that could have taken 3 to 3 ½ days is extended to a little more than a week. I think this company has good intentions, but the project management is the biggest weakness. The communication between the salesman, the company, the supervisors,
the workers, and the customer is a mess. I felt like I had to manage this project myself, and it?s sad to have to
locate the issues and point them out when a good job foreman/supervisor could show up and make certain the job is being done right.  
My recommendation to this company is to improve communication, supervise the workers, inspect the job, and find a better skilled person to install the windows than the guy that did mine.

"We had an great experience with DTS Family Plumbing Services. I had an appointment. with a “Large local KC HVAC Company”, to replace our 20-year-old water heater. Then we saw an ad on Angie’s list for the same water heater and install for ½ the price from DTS. I called DTS and spoke with the owner, Anthony Morales, and right off the bat he was extremely personable and took the time to explain the honest process on cost on this type of work. We decided to go with DTS instead for the replacement. Anthony scheduled us in the very next day and arrived along with Tony right on time. They again were very professional in covering the work they were going to do. Within in 1 hour, Anthony and Tony had the new water heater installed, and the old one removed. Having such a great interaction and experience with Anthony and DTS, we are now planning to use them to remodel our bathroom’s at the new house we just purchased. I would strongly recommend DTS Family Plumbing Services for any plumbing or bath remodeling needs moving forward!!!"
