"A week and a half before the date of service, we called their office and made a service appointment for Mon. 9/17 for 8:30 am. I stayed home from work to meet the plumber, and spent one and a half hours waiting around, during which time I called their office and left a message to find out what was going on. We finally received a call stating that the person who was going to be there “went home sick, after a late night with his friends”. Before the response to our call, there was no call from Cichy Plumbing and Heating to let us know the plumber was not coming or to change the appointment. The caller apologized, and an appointment was made for the following day, Tues. 9/18, again for 8:30 am. <br /> The next morning, after a half hour of waiting, I called and left a message at 9:00 am. Very soon after the plumber showed up. I said that all he had to do was call if he was running late, but that it was not good customer service to just show up late, more so after the previous day. He apologized. I left, and my wife was there while he made the repair. The job was completed and the work was professional. <br /> After he was done, my wife offered to write a check to pay for the service, and the plumber indicated that the office would simply send a bill. She then said to him, “that was 45 minutes for the service, right?” He said, “yes, 45 minutes”. No mention of a flat fee, and no mention of a minimum. So when we received the bill, which does not say flat fee, or outcall, or travel, we were a little surprised to see time = 1.0 hours. <br />"

After moving back into our house and seeing how well the new gutter was working, we decided to replace the back gutter as well.
