"Neil was very professional and explained the options we had with redoing our cabinetry. He was meticulous with our cabinets and hardware both with removal and installation. They look brand new and match perfectly with the cabinet boxes. Also, in regards to our basement, he brought a paint representative to examine our flooring since it had been sealed before incorrectly by a basement sealing company. He sealed our basement floor and it looks great."

"I am very unsatisfied with my experience. I called the office to talk about my projects and get a quote on the jobs that I needed completed. We discussed all three jobs. The office said this would take a day and quoted me a price. They charged me money to hold my appointment date. A month went by, I had to call the office the day before the appointment to make sure that someone was still going to be arriving the next day. The appointment was scheduled to start at 8:00 am. The handyman came to my house at 12:45. He looked at the jobs that were to be completed and said that he could only finish one of them and asked which of the three I would like him to do. He went out to buy materials and returned back to my house sometime around 3:00. He never even fully finished one of the jobs. He left my house at 5:30 and I was charged over $1000. I was also charged for a gallon of paint that he never even used because the job was never completed. "

He responded quickly to questions, did a very good job keeping us updated on the project's progress and he was pro-active about working out logistical details before the project start date. The communication aspect of the experience was quite refreshing compared to other contractor experiences we have endured in the past. Quality of the work was exceptional! The painted walls look great and the wall repairs that happened before the painting also are spotless. He left the house clean and there was no mess to clean up after the work was done. We would HIGHLY recommend this company. We plan to use them again for any future painting projects and we give them our highest recommendation!"

"The deck, chandelier, handrail, and UV projects were done in October. The windows required a special order and were installed on two consecutive days in December. Mr. Jackson and his employees did an excellent job. They are efficient and courteous, and left the work areas very clean. Chris is knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. It is difficult to make a definitive price comparison, as we did not get estimates from other contractors, but we trust Chris—I had hired him for work on a previous house—and feel that his prices were very fair and reasonable. Casement windows are expensive and we expected that; the new ones are excellent. While here to do the windows the guys also moved a heavy chest from the garage up to our second floor, a task we could not have done ourselves. We can highly recommend Chris Jackson’s Contracting. This review should have been posted long ago, but better late than never."
