I was given many options on type of roof, all possible needed replacement of plywood sheeting, facia and sub fascia boards, gables, and new gutters. I chose a metal roof. They quoted a price, and we agreed, and they pulled permit quickly and was on the job soon after. Every member of their team, from the tear off crew, carpenters, painters, and installers, were professional and worked hard and steady through the brutal Florida summertime heat, without slowing down. They did all of this as hurricane Isaias was heading into our area, and they got it done right, and on time. The crew was well coached by Steve, and every question or concern that I had, he was very responsive and answered any question I had, with details and patience. If you are going to get a new roof, which is one of the biggest projects you may ever have to have done, or even if you just need a repair, you will be in good hands with Capps Roofing, as oppossed to any unknown company who may not deliver the quality of service that Capps Roofing has done."

"I had a few cracked roof tiles that were bothering me. I was procrastinating about calling J&K or any other roofing company because I thought maybe the job wasn't big enough. Then last week during that torrential rainfall we had I noticed a leak coming from the shower stall light. 
 I looked on Angie's list for some roofers to get a quote. Then I remembered my brother used J&K to put up a new roof for him several months ago. My brother said he was extremely happy with them and that I should call Fred (owner's son). This was a Wednesday night around 5:45pm. I called and left a message for Fred on his cell.
I figured I wouldn't hear back from Fred or anyone for a few days. About 10 minutes later Fred called. I explained what the issue was and that my brother referred him. Fred said my brother had called him a few weeks ago saying I might be calling. I told Fred I procrastinated because I wasn't sure if coming out to fix several cracked tiles was a big enough job. Fred advised it was no problem.
The next day (Thursday) Sammy came out and after inspecting the roof determined the leak was coming from the sky light. Sammy was a rather nice southern speaking gentleman, and stated he would have his guys out to my home on Saturday. Sammy quoted me $1,850 for the job. I forgot to tell Fred I was a Angie member, and when I told Sammy, he said just tell the guys that come out Saturday to take the 10% off the bill.
Saturday morning at 8am J&K was knocking on my door. 3 hours later my roof was repaired. I told the workers what Sammy had said and they advised to go ahead and take 10% off the bill.
Now it hasn't rained since so I'll wait to see how the repair holds up, but I'm confident it will be fine. I was very pleased with Fred, Sammy and the two gentleman that worked on my roof. I couldn't believe they got back to me so quickly. I was impressed.

"We choose ASP impact windows and sliding doors over other vendors because their product (SIW) had thicker aluminum and glass than other less expensive products. They were able to make one 'eyebrow' window in one piece due to glass thickness that other vendors would have had to do in two pieces due to size. We just felt that overall ASP's SIW windows offered a little more safety. Our city inspector must have thought the same thing because he commented several times about how strong they were and event wrote down what they were for his own personal needs. I assume he has seen a lot of windows to inspect, so that gave me even more confidence that we made the right decision. We also had hurricane fabric installed for a covered section of our patio to replace an accordion that was being removed for storage outside of patio furniture, gas grill and plants during a storm. The hurricane fabric is so strong and convenient, it folds up and is stored in a bag, sitting in our closet. Chris our ASP sales person was great at explaining and patient while we did our due diligence. It did take a while for manufacturing, but definitely worth the wait. The installers were professional, keeping the areas as clean as possible, We are very happy with our new impact windows and sliding doors. Our house looks great with the new windows (and accordions removed). Would highly recommend."
