"When it rains on the inside of your fireplace, you have a problem. My chimney crown had several cracks that needed to be sealed. I called a few chimney repair companies and in the end decided to go with Holy Smokes Chimney Service. I found the owner, Waylon, an honest and forthright person who seemed to really care about my situation. He came to my home and gave me a quote the day I called him, and then proceeded to tell me he was going to put a tarp over my chimney with no pressure to use his services while I investigated other companies. I was impressed with that and his overall knowledge and experience. Waylon was back with his assistant within two weeks to clean and waterproof the bricks, seal the crown, and install a new chimney cap. They also blew the leaves off the roof, walks, and driveway. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. "I had a leak at my back door that was ruining my hardwood floor inside. I had several people come to look for the source, but nobody could find out why. Then my insurance agent suggested calling Terry Garrett at Skyline Contracting. He sent one of his people, who was able to diagnose that the leak was caused by faulty gutter cover installation, causing rain water to flow backward behind the siding. Skyline personnel then fixed the gutters, replaced the rotten door, including painting, replacing casing, reinstalling locks, and door shutters. They cut out the rotted hardwood floor, and installed tile (my choice) at the entranceway. Everone was very professional, and cleaned up the work area when work was done for the day. Skyline was very good about communicating with me, and everyone showed up at the time I was told they would."

"They are actually a national firm.  I spent between $8000 and $10000.  They did the complete tear down and reshingle in one day.  They had 10 guys working here.  They worked hard.  They did it quickly.  There wasn't any inconvenience at all.  They got up there and did the work.  I don't know anybody else who does it in one day with the size of the roof that we have.  We've got a 4000 sqft house.  I was happy."
