"Contacted Vans for two services. 1. Requested service of air filtrations system. The air filter system has a UV light that was not illuminating. A simple item to fix that could not be completed on sight and required an estimate that exceeded the cost of a new air filter. 2. Signed up for a routine furnace and air conditioning service. The furnace service was completed in late November. The air conditioning service was scheduled for spring 2025. The furnace was working properly prior to visit. After the November visit, the furnace would exhibit a loud buzzing sound when it initially fired and would "short cycle". These conditions were not observed or heard prior to the service. Called Van's regarding the furnace issues. Van's scheduled a follow up service same day. Decided against the follow up service due to the performance issues. Reason: The two prior visits resulted in either not fixing the problem (UV light) or the furnace working poorly after a "routine service". Requested our money back for all prior service. The routine furnace and air conditioning work was performed on a pre pay basis. The Van's manager agreed to refund only the air conditioning payment (service was scheduled but not performed). The two prior visits were not refunded. Overall, Van's did not appear to be familiar with the furnace or air filtration system. The air filtration system was identified by model and serial number prior to visit. If Van's is not familiar with the HVAC system, they should state so before getting involved."

Over the past few months, Adams Electric has failed to complete electrical work that was promised, left my home in disarray, and charged outrageous fees for unresolved issues—including a $540 bill for a toilet that still doesn’t work after three visits. I personally went to their office in tears, asking for help, and my concerns were completely ignored. I have sent multiple requests for resolution, yet I have received no accountability or action from their leadership. As a company that claims to be faith-based and community-driven, their lack of integrity is deeply disappointing. "From working with Mike to the having the install, the process was beyond my expectations. Met the salesperson Mike at the GB home and lifestyle show. Bay Area services was the only vendor that had and would talk price at the show. Within 3 weeks of the initial meeting we had our new AC at the best price. And we shopped around a lot. Mike never tried to sell us something we didn't need and was great to work with. The tech that installed the unit did a great job and didn't leave a mess. Haven't had a chance to really use the unit yet since it's still heating season but was assured once the cooling season starts if there is any issues that they would take care of it. Will probably switch to them for all of our hearing and cooling needs."
