The first part of my experience was meeting with Darrel Walker and going through his thorough inspection of my roof and over my options of repairing vs replacing. I asked a ton of questions and received all the information I needed to make my decision. The process was informative and stress free. The second part of my experience was the roof replacement process. I really appreciated the constant communication from the project manager, Jose Vargas. Jose was able to keep me up to date on the progress of the project and walk me through the work done afterward. I also received messages from the office project team with updates on material deliveries and repair dates. Going through any major home repair or replacement can be a very stressful task. I really appreciated the time, information, and attention to detail I received from the entire team at Garcia Roofing."

"Installers were prompt and worked efficiently.  New installer needed a bit more professional training, since he asked if he could smoke an e-cigarette inside.  When I said "no", he was polite and smoked outside.  At least he asked.  Installers looked a bit "rough" but they wore company shirts and did a good job.  My only problem with this company was that their hours were inconvenient, although they made arrangements to be open when I requested. <br />"

"Got the last-minute siding maintenance deal. <br /> It was a while ago, but I remember that he rescheduled a couple of times, and then when he did come he was late and seemed irritated. He looked at the house and gave me an astronomical estimate to basically replace all the weatherboards. (I told him I knew they were in kindof rough shape, but I didn't need the whole house to be redone-- I just wanted to see if he could fix a couple of the bad ones.)  It felt like he was totally annoyed and condescending with me because my house wasn't perfect and because I live in a neighborhood that's a little rough. Seemed like he was not exactly used to being called out to an area like my 'hood.  We agreed that he could do some minimal work to at least get the value of the angie's list deal purchase. Weeks went by and nobody never called to follow up.  <br /> Maybe he just had a bad day--everyone has one, and I understand that--but my experience was not a good one.  <br /> I ended up calling Angie's list and they refunded my money for the deal. <br />"

"Todd and his team did an excellent job installing gutters on my home. It took several days to return my original phone call, but after that the job was evaluated and quoted in a timely fashion. The price was competitive, and the work was completed ahead of schedule. The day of the install the team showed up on time, worked quickly and in a few hours I had new gutters. "I posted an earlier review where I gave some low grades based on a charge for log removal. The owner (who usually goes on all jobs, but was unavailable when my services were performed) contacted me to get details. He refunded the $50 I was charged for removing the logs, and ensured the chimney had been cleaned. He said he would remind his assistants to mention any charge upfront. He asked if I experienced any uncomfortableness with the workers, based on my lower grade for professionalism. I said no, my irritation at the charge for removing the logs colored my rating for the overall, price, quality and professionalism ratings. Based on his responsiveness in checking to ensure the work was done properly and refund of unexpected charge, I would hire again, and recommend him to others."
