"Two men from GoGen arrived to help me sort out the origin of half my home losing power in the ceiling lights and wall plugs between four rooms. One told me that I needed to upgrade my outdoor electric box and that it was out of code for new homes. They then came into my home to test the electric current in the plugs that didn't work--one by one (even opening my fridge to confirm it was on). One of my breakers was tripped from the winter storm and flipping the switch fixed 95% of the problem. From there, they told me to conduct a diagnoses and repair to one line of connected plugs, the cost would be $365 per set, and that I had two, but they would only charge me for one. The set fee covered up to 4 hrs of work. The repair took 25 minutes and involved snipping a burned wire and re-twisting it with one that was in good condition to restore power. I later called to ask for the 20% Angies List Membership discount, and while hesitant, they honored it. This sort of balanced things out."

"Initially, we were very impressed in the response for our request to install a 60" flat screen TV in our living room.  I had requested that a three shelf system also be installed [which I was willing to provide]; but Mr. Curbello suggested using one of his - stating it would save us money.  He and his son [or other helper] arrived at the designated time.  They appeared to be very knowledgeable and professional.  After they finished and left, I realized that our instructional manuals for our new Samsung Sound Bar and Blue Ray player were missing.  Mr. Curbello's helper had taken out the boxes to be thrown away - evidently the manuals were in those boxes.  I called Mr. Curbello on more than one occassion telling him we had no instructional manuals for the equipment that we provided.  He stated that his helper had left them for us - but I informed him they were no where to be found.  He suggested that I go on the Internet and try to download the instructional manuals for this equipent; I told him we did not even have the serial #'s or model #'s, since they had been thrown away in the boxes.  No relief there.  I re-called him about the missing 3rd shelf which we had already paid for; he informed me that he was willing to bring it to our home, but would have to charge us a $90.00 service call.  This was totally unacceptable."
