Perhaps this won't work and perhaps it will, but the point is he gave us a full account of what may be happening and a number of specific things to try before pulling the trigger on a major structural ordeal. He originally quoted the price based on being able to bore from the sidewalk to the house underground with minimal trenching, but as it turned out, he had to trench as our ground is very hard and fought his equipment. He said I didn't need to be home while work was completed which was great because I didn't have to take time off from work.
