"I contacted John Santana, of Choice Home Repair, explained what I needed done and setup an appointment with him to come and look at the jobsite and to discuss in further detail what is required to accomplish what I wanted. John arrived at the appointed time, he thoroughly assessed the area to be worked on, brought to light some areas of concern and made some suggestions on how he would go about to resolve these issues. He also took the time to explain why they needed to be considered. Afterwards, John worked up an estimate, in a reasonable period of time. I thought his price was more than fair and had him draw up a contract. After singing off, I fronted him the funds for materials that needed to be special ordered. When John began the job he partitioned off the area to minimize dust and he cleaned up at the end of the day. Being that this job was done in December, I allowed John to setup in our heated garage where he could work. Here too he partitioned off that area to minimize the dust from his saws and other tools needed for the job. John Santana is a very conscientious, honest, and polite professional that does high quality work. He goes beyond the norm so that in the end everything about the job is solid and looks great. "The guys built us new exterior doors and rebuilt some stairs in the house. They are very good carpenters and always timely. They price fairly and are professional and courteous. They work deliberately and ask questions along the way so everything is done right. They also create a work proposal first so there is a contract. Good for your record keeping. They also hung a custom mirror, installed ceramic tile and installed a light. They do light electric and plumbing which is helpful in a pinch."

"George Fetherman and his son Jim performed two separate jobs at my home in Canadensis, Pa. <br /> The first job was to remove and install new cedar siding. George Fetherman was very responsive in coming out to inspect the home and providing an estimate for the siding work. He carefully explained exactly what they were planning to do and what materials would be used. I accepted his proposal and the work was performed on the dates they scheduled when the contract was signed. The job was very professionally done and new siding looks great. <br /> The second job was to make repairs to my 30 year old deck. The deck is quite large, approximately 16' x 32', and had multiple structural problems due to rotted wood. The initial estimate was to replace the primary support beam and four joists. Again, the proposal described exactly what work was to be performed and what materials would be used. The work started on the date estimated when the contract was signed. While the work was being performed and many of the deck boards were removed, it was clear that four additional joists had to be replaced. Fortunately, George Fetherman had planned for a couple of extra days in his schedule and we amended the contract for the additional work. The primary support beam was made from six 16' 2x12s bolted as a triple 32' beam. All of the joists were double 16' 2x12s. Once again, the job was very professionally done and the deck is now structurally solid and safe. <br /> I give George Fetherman and Son my highest recommendation and I will plan use them for any additional projects at my home. <br />"

Two weeks later, we were quite impressed with Mr. Vazquez's expertise and application by creating a lovely modern bathroom while maintaining its connection with the outdoor surroundings. Mr. Vazquez installed sheetrock, painted and added trimmings to window and door. Polyurethaned old natural wooden ceiling. Performed an exceptional application of floor and wall tile areas. Installed mirror, sink, toilet, base board heater and hardware. This is our fourth project with Mr. Vazquez ,for he previously replaced the roof, repaired the deck and replaced parts of the house's insulation.
