Out of hysteria, and quick thinking, I picked up the phone, and proceeded to call Forever Wood Construction Emergency Hotline. (916) 676-6610.  Within two rings, I was already speaking to a live representative. I gave them my address, and a quick overview of the scenario, and they were already on their way!!  The representative, also walked me through the procedure of turning my water off, through the phone.  About ten minutes later, Forever Wood Construction was already at my door step, with all the necessary tools on hand.  I am amazed to see such prompted service.  I proceeded to show them the water damage, and they thoroughly explained everything they were going to do, to prevent further damage, in an fashionably organized manner.  Within a half hour, I had my kitchen stripped down, and airing out  with their Huge Fans, and Dehumidifiers.  Forever Wood Construction Company, helped me to get all the necessary information for my Insurance company.  After the drying process, Clayton Witherow, Owner, presented a game plan, to ensure this would never happen again, and tips on different materials, they can use to increase the value of my home.  I went with the Travertine Stone Tiles, in which i love.  Forever Wood Construction had the kitchen done, with absolute quality results, in one day!!  I have never experienced a company with such great customer service, sense of urgency, and top quality results, as exceptional as I've experienced with Forever Wood Construction.  I will use them for any future construction job, whether it be an emergency job again, or not.  I will also refer Forever Wood Construction to all my family members, and friends.  I want to thank Forever Wood Construction, for making me feel comfortable in the situation at hand, and increasing the value of my home!!

"I called the company, and a handyman named Tom called me back within a few days. The first time Tom came over, he hung our double curtain rods and patched the holes around the hollow walls where we had tried to hang the rods ourselves. We thought he did such a great job, we called him back to remove the security bars from all the exterior windows around our house. This was a big job and took several days. Tom did a wonderful job not only removing the bars but also patching and painting around the windows. Tom seems to know how to do EVERYTHING, and we are going to call him with all the small jobs we need done around the house."

"Originally, I called to get a new attic ladder installed, some plywood placed over the 2 x 4's on the attice floor, and asked for a new opening in my ceiling. Placing the plywood floor was particularly complicated because there are water lines, electrical lines, and air ducts that ran along the attic floor or close to the floor. Also, we have trusses in the attic that make moving around difficult. Ron gave me an estimate which I felt was reasonable. As the work progressed, however, I realized that I had no way to turn on the attic light from the new opening and the lighting where the new attic floor was laid was rather poor in places. So I asked Ron to install additional lighting and a two-way light switch. While he was here, I also asked him to look at a GFI plug that kept tripping and to move a light fixture since the new attic opening would be placed where we had a ceiling light. He also had to build a new door for the attic and frame and paint it since the attic ladder I purchased did not come with a door. Ron moved the light at no charge to us because he felt it was very simple and would not take a lot of time. However, we expanded our request for flooring (to cover more attic area than originally thought) and with the additional electrical work, he brought in one of his electricians to ensure the work was performed properly. All went very well and he was quite accommodating as our request for his services continually expanded beyond the original scope. We worked together on pricing to ensure all was fair."

"It was fine. There was an additional charge but I'm not surprised because I had a dryer vent that is very complicated. We negotiated and told me what they will going to take to do it. I was fine with it because I know my dryer vent. For me, to call somebody and do that specifically, it would have been more money. I feel good about it."
