"Jack was great to work with from start to finish! He made the whole process easy and made me extremely comfortable knowing I was going to get high quality. His expertise is made very clear in his work and professionalism, 10/10 would not go with anyone else for your waterproofing, or vapor barrier."

"The owner (Michel Bervaldi) was very informative and forthcoming re the project. Unfortunately, financial priorities did not allow us to follow though without the project. We did speak with other contractors and Michel would have been our first choice if we were to proceed as originally planned."

"Eco Tech did a great job removing tiles from two different rooms in my basement. They provided a clear estimate and completed the work on time. When I had questions they were very responsive. I would certainly hire them again."

"I was extremely satisfied with the crew at C.A.R.E. They were prompt and very courteous, and also extremely accommodating. We couldn't have the crew come in on any other day but Sunday, and it was no problem for these guys. They worked around my schedule and the schedules of my staff. Anything that they had to move in order to do their job, they replaced when finished. Each air vent was carefully removed, and after the duct was cleaned, the vents were replaced and cleaned, as well. There had been a smoke/fire in the building several years earlier, and had left a faint odor in the duct work. Now the office smells fresh and clean, and it's reassuring to know that there is nothing harmful in the air that my employees are breathing due to this issue. I look forward to sharing this story with my customers that will ask about this, and recommend them to anyone. Thanks Guys! <br />"

"AVL was my 3rd landscaping company since arriving here in Durango late 2012 and I LOVE them.  They are super knowledgeable, polite, do what they commit to doing and do it well.   Being new to the area, I was not sure what to plant where and they furnished me with a long list of plants to look at for each area of my garden.  It is starting to look amazing and I am really happy.    They have totally exceeded my expectations and I look forward to them keeping up with my snow fall this winter as well. <br />"

"I found Dorian Dyer's original paintings to be thought provoking and yet peaceful at the same time. <br /> He creates scenes of a simple and pure love using subjects such as eagles, geese, buffalo, people, the Earth, and the cosmos.  All of Dorian's art expresses a connection with one another and all life.   <br /> With an initial gaze at Dorian's paintings you may see an abstract or New Age piece of art, but when you relax and take a few moments to look deeper, an inner knowing of the masterpiece of all life will come forward.  There is love, beauty, and a gentle reminder of God's presence within each piece of art. <br /> <br />"

"Shawn and John came out quickly and exactly when they scheduled.  I was very impressed with their professionalism and am convinced they would have done a great job on my home.  (Major drainage problems.)  They were honest, informative, and answered all my questions.  The sent an estimate a few hours after their visit.  Overall I liked them and their company a lot.  The only reason I didn't go with them for the work was because I found someone else (on Angie's list) that was significantly less cost.  I am not sure cheaper is better, but we will see.  Anyway, I would call these folks again if I needed their services.  They are good to deal with."

"There was cracking in the sheet-rock of my garage. I reported it to Taylor Morrison who sent out an engineer to take many measurements to determine if there was a structural issue with my house. Hunter Engineering's diagnosis was that there were structural issues with my house that needed addressing. First, (ASR Companies) they dug up the concrete floor of my garage, installed reinforcing posts to support and re-level my garage and re poured the concrete floor. Next, the driveway was dug up and re poured. In the process of breaking up the driveway, a piece of construction equipment called a Ditch Witch backed up on to my front stairs causing them to fracture. They removed and re poured my front steps. My entire basement had to be emptied. ASR contracted a local mover to pack up and store all my belongings. They removed a permanent window and installed a temporary window so that they could access the basement work area without disturbing us. I called them the cave dwellers. They entered and exited the house from the temporary window and I didn't have the opportunity to meet them all and learn their names. They put up a temporary locking door at the bottom of the basement stairs for safety, security and privacy purposes. They removed the carpeting to gain access to the wooden structural floor boards. They removed the floor boards, removed a whole lot of dirt that had expanded and was causing stress on a steel girder under the house. After sufficient dirt was removed to relieve stress on the structure, an adjustment was made to a component called a micro-post underneath the house. They made miniscule adjustments of 1/4 and 3/8ths inches in these posts which resulted in re leveling my house. They let the house settle for thirty days. This minor adjustment that they made caused additional, however, expected cracking of the sheet-rock in other areas of the home. They sent in their expert cosmetic team that restored the house to better than new. They went above and beyond and I can't express enough how pleased I was with their work ethic, their professionalism, their upbeat attitude, their reverence to my property, their commitment, the quality of their work and they were just fun, pleasant guys. I can't praise them enough for getting me through this extremely stressful time and we spent many weeks together. Living in a construction zone is not pleasant. Their was some collateral damage that could not be avoided. ASR Companies restored any and all collateral damage that was incurred during the reconstruction and left my house spotless. Thank you Kenny and Robert and Eddie and Ray and Billy and Andrew and all the hard working folks who's names I never got to know. There was no challenge that they could not handle. <br />"

FAQs for foundation, basement or crawlspace waterproofing / encapsulation projects in Dolores, CO

The most affordable way to waterproof your basement is with interior methods like waterproof paint, costing between $1 and $8 per square foot, or silicate concrete sealers priced at $4 to $6 per square foot. However, these solutions are only suitable for certain issues. If your basement moisture is due to more serious problems like a cracked foundation, you'll need more extensive (and costly) repairs.

Absolutely! Waterproofing your basement is a smart investment that can increase your home's value. By keeping your basement dry and free of moisture problems, you protect your home's structural integrity and make it more appealing to potential buyers. Plus, taking proactive measures now can prevent costly water damage repairs down the line.

The time required to waterproof a basement depends on the selected method. Some approaches to interior waterproofing, like paint or sealant, can be completed within a day. Installing new drains or weeping tiles will need at least two to three days of labor. Any forms of exterior waterproofing that require you to excavate land will require an additional three days of work to prepare the ground.

Yes, basement waterproofing can significantly increase your home's value. A dry, leak-free basement is a strong selling point for potential buyers, enhancing your property's desirability and market price. Investing in professional waterproofing not only protects your home's structural integrity but also ensures a healthier living environment by preventing mold and mildew growth.

Waterproofing both the interior and exterior of your basement offers the best protection against moisture. Exterior waterproofing stops water from penetrating your foundation, while interior methods manage any moisture that does enter. If you must choose one, exterior waterproofing is generally more effective, as it prevents water from reaching your home's interior in the first place.
