"From top to bottom , best contractor crew ever at my home. Angelo ( owner) was running the job with a great crew. They did a great, quality job. They were all skilled, and able to work on their own. They never rushed one part of the job to beat a clock. They focused on quality , even near the end when others I hired rushed to finish. They were quiet, respectful and never in the way of anything ... very polite , hardworking men. Angelo was always here at critical times to ensure the job was done correctly. He has a sharp eye for detail and ensures everything is done correctly. They were also great at the end cleaning everything up. What impressed me also is the mutual respect between him and his crew. "The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! The premises was cleaned up everyday when they left and all work was done in a very professional manner. I recommend Carl’s Decking very highly."
