"K&J maintenance (John) has completed numerous construction projects for me over the years. He tore out and installed new bath (to include- tile bath & floor, paint, install cabinets, change plumbing & added electrical outlets. He installed wooden & vertical blinds; repaired & painted walls/trim; installed ceiling fans & light fixtures; fixed & installed carpet; installed storm doors; installed curtain rods. I have used K&J over the years and is the best person for any job. He is very knowledgeable, professional and is priced very reasonable. I recommend him highly for any projects big or small. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"I am happy to write a Review for Harrison’s General Contracting and have only the highest praise for Davin and his team. I wanted to give my home a refresh, and am completely amazed by the results. The work they did was paint the kitchen, living room and dining room walls/plus accent walls, and stairway hallways. What a difference this made. Seriously, it feels like a brand new home, fresh, clean, chic and suits my style perfectly. Everyday they arrived on time, were professional, friendly and worked very diligently and efficiently all day long. At the end of the day, Davin would walk me though the work they did, and review what they were doing the next day. I'm very particular and have to say the workmanship was outstanding. The first day I hung out a bit and observed their work, but after that, I knew I could fully trust Davin and his team to come in and do their thing. The job took three days from start to finish. I'm sure with other contractors, this would have stretched out to a week or two. A couple things that really stood out was when I asked for their input on certain decisions, they offered honest responses. They weren't afraid to let me know why a certain idea would or wouldn't work. And then we worked together to make final decisions. Another thing was on occasion, Davin would have me come check colors, or the look of something before they got too far, to ensure I was happy. If something needed tweaking, they didn't hesitate. I highly recommend this company!"

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
