"I got quotes from 4 roofers. Most and least expensive were automatically removed. What set Berg ahead of the other vendor was the no nonsense approach. This is what we offer and theis is the price. No sugar coat or dance. Also, the price and product was a factor too. They came out and stripped the house and garage to the wood. Replaced some of the wood, installed the ridge vent and new shingles in a day. They have a dumpster trailer on wheels, so there was no damage to lawn or driveway. It’s been a few weeks and I think I’ve picked up 4 nails and 1 piece of roofing felt. No complaints with that, compared to what came off. Overall, they said what they did and did what they said. I’ll be calling them for a quote on siding in the future. Very happy overall."

Wes came to my home and checked out my roof damage quickly. tom walked me through the filing of an insurance claim. Robert their Master carpenter and his crew does excellent work. Their crew quickly and thoroughly gave me a new roof, gutters, vents and a solar attic fan. I was impressed how clean they left my property everything was hauled away. I would not hesitate to use them again in fixing or remodeling my home."

During the install, the crew showcased their years of experience in the way they engaged with each other to be efficient and yet very detail oriented. A project of this size is not to be completed overnight, and if it is, it likely means shortcuts were taken that will later haunt you. The install crew took zero shortcuts and in fact went above and beyond with finishing details as if my home were their own. Like any large project, there were a few minor items that required attention, each time Tom, Steve and the crew were more than willing to accommodate and even offer suggestions on the best path forward. "After reviewing several roofing companies on Angi and elsewhere, as well as one family recommendation, we went with Seidel to have all the singles, underlying materials, and gutters replaced on our ~ 25 year old home. The first thing to know about this company is that Udo is a knowledgeable professional who is happy to answer any questions leading up to the job, and assist with things that can be challenging, like getting permits or working with HOAs. During the work he checked in multiple times and even supplied some photos of the roof while the crew was up there, to confirm boards were all OK. In short, he doesn't miss details and does a great job communicating throughout. We went with a higher grade of shingle and supporting materials, and so far (after 30+ days and several storms) the overall quality looks great. I don't anticipate any issues through the coming winter, but will update should anything warrant it. Can fully recommend Seidel and we are also likely to use them for a siding project, based on our positive experiences with the roof."

"The results are really nice, but just took too long to complete, otherwise our project would have been rated "A". The process started in late September 2019 when we were asking for estimates. We really liked working with Teresa and selected Excel for the project in November 2019. We got scheduled for January 6th, 2020 to start a project which was to take 2 to 3 weeks. Roman did the remodel and he was fantastic. Great workmanship and easy to schedule with. While 95% of the project was completed in three weeks, delays with the walk-in shower glass and the linen closet doors pushed that remaining 5% completion out weeks. Covid-19 then added to the delays. The linen closet doors were finally delivered on May 5th, 2020. We are happy with the end result, even after the delays."

Jose called the day before with all the details of the job and made sure that I was comfortable with everything that was discussed in the contract. After the job was done, Jose was very quick and communicative with closing out the job and showing me, in detail, how the roof looked and what they installed!
