"I hired Al to excavate a stormwater management system for my new Pole Barn. He arrived on site on time, prepared with all materials needed to dig a 775 cu ft. trench and install the required corrugated pipe and downspout clean outs, and even worked into the dark with auxiliary lighting to complete the project per township requirements before bad weather set in. I liked that even before I awarded Al the job, he had already stopped by the township zoning office to gain a better understanding of the specifics for my parcel. Although there is still some minor grading work left to do, Al was able to get me through a successful township inspection without issue. Al will be back to add topsoil and cut cleanout pipes to grade level once the ground thaws. I admire that Al frequently asks if your happy with the work throughout the process, as well as explain each step. I plan to bring Al back to finish cutting cleanouts to grade level, and I plan to hire Al to do the final landscaping."

"I was very pleased with the way Mini Backhoe Services handled my project. Shane was great at explaining how to re-slope (regrade) my side yard where there was standing water during medium to heavy rains. The slope was steep. Several options were recommended from bringing in loads of dirt (soil) to level out the slope. Bringing in dirt was a problem since it was uncertain as to just how much dirt would be needed. The first visit was exploratory allowing Shane to see what the project entailed. Ultimately, we decided to do the project in two steps, which I was very comfortable with. The first step was to use the existing dirt already on the slope to regrade the steep hill, wait for rain to see the effect, that would let us know if next steps were needed and how much added soil was needed. I was very satisfied with the plan. The very next week, Brandon came in with the Bobcat and re positioned the hill into a smooth grade that made such a difference in the appearance. Since that time, we had a light rain. No water puddles. But I will have them return to fill in with additional soil, once I have some additional landscaping work completed. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the outcome. Brandon and Shane have a professional style that makes a customer feel comfortable. I made the right choice using Mini-Backhoe Services, and I highly recommend the company."

The crew edged and mulched our flower beds. They trimmed all our trees and removed shrubs that were diseased with mold. Kimberly (Yard Mgr) Adam’s right hand ma’am spent special detailing to dig up river rocks that were buried and outlined the mulch and it look awesome. Adam also identified a sick tree that was poorly planted and suggested removing. Overall we are extremely excited and pleased with our yard. When the excavator was working, I didn't really understand when he asked if we wanted to "feather" the uneven ground around the pool- so now we have a lot of ground without the grass that was there because the feathering was put over top of the grass - killing it. Overall, I would recommend C&D's. They were very responsive every step."
