"At first I just needed my toilet installed. It went so well that I called them again to have the pipes that were leaking in my basement replaced. They were very punctual and performed excellent work. I should probably compare the costs, but I enjoy working with them and will continue when I need a repair."

"they did an ok job! It was a small job. Although they left some pieces of the previous pipe laying around. I liked the price and the work was finished successfully but they could be more open about their plan and methods as the outcome wasn't what we initially agreed on."

"Stacey responded immediately to my request for emergency service to fix a rapidly dropping tub faucet. The plumbers were personable, efficient, and had the required part with them when they arrived (I sent Stacey pics of the faucet after the initial call). I am extremely happy with the customer service and work. Will recommend in a heartbeat."

"A/C went out abruptly. Didn't need same-day service to survive, but it was mid-July & definitely uncomfortable. They were able to get a tech out within a few days: he tracked the issue down pretty quickly from my description, gave me a price on the spot: then I had to wait a few more days for the part to come in. I suppose that was the only downside of this experience, but they can't keep absolutely everything in stock so I get it. Second tech arrived a little later than scheduled, but Unique was thorough about keeping me updated on his ETA with two or three phone calls to let me know his status. He made the fix & was on his way. No nonsense, no upsell/hardsell/etc. Would use again if needed, would recommend to a friend."

"I would have to say that Khaleb and his crew did a commendable job on the bathroom upgrade, and water piping issues. Their cleanup is also to be commendable. If I have anymore issues to be solved, 1-800-Plumber will be the call that I make. Sidney K"

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Drexel Hill, PA

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
