"After researching different basements remodeling companies we are glad we went with Buckeye Basements. From the initial appointment, James walked us through the steps and was very polite and accurate with the all the information he gave us. He did a rough sketch what it would look like and answered all of our questions that we had. Mike completed the framing part of the basement and he was an awesome guy. My 3 year old daughter really took to him and kept asking when she got up if Mike was coming over this morning. He spent time talking with my wife and children and was very friendly. This is a huge to have this kind of bond with people coming into your house every day. After this the next steps of the process went smoothly from HVAC, plumbing, drywall and painting. Leah and Jon were awesome with communication during the whole process. Leah would email us on a regular basis to let us know who was going to be coming over the next day and what the next steps were. Leah would also get with us to schedule the city inspection to make sure it was a good time for us as well. Jon would stop in and check on the progress which I found to be awesome from an owner. Most larger companies wouldn?t do this as you would never see the owner, not the case with Buckeye Basements. Overall, we are very pleased with the project done by Buckeye Basements and have told our friends, family, and coworkers about them. We truly love the job they did with our basement and their communication was GREAT. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is doing a basement remodeling project.

"If you need to do a remodeling project in your home THIS is the guy you need to use!! He does ALL the work himself (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc...). He did an AMAZING job and his price was more than reasonable. He is very reliable and he is meticulous with the work he does. He did 2 bathroom remodels in our home which he gutted and started from scratch. They both turned out beautiful (tile, flooring, cabinet install, plumbing, lighting etc..) and he does all the work himself!! He showed up on time everyday and he was a pleasure to have around! My dogs even loved him! He also remodeled our den and installed hardwood floors on our first floor. The work turned out beautiful and we are soo happy! We plan to use him again in the future to remodel our master bath and our basement. He was highly recommended from a few of my husbands co-workers who have also used him for many home remodel projects and were very happy with the quality/price of his work. After using a local "Remodeling Company" for our kitchen a few years back, I can't tell you how happy we were to find Greg of H&B Construction. That company charged us huge prices and the work went on forever!! Wish I would have known about Greg and H&B back then! This guy does it all, is very skilled, does beautiful work, is reliable and honest and his prices are VERY reasonable. "We couldn’t be happier. The upstairs is beautiful. Tim kept everything cleaned up while working, showed up promptly and kept sub use to a minimum . Everyone who worked in our home went out of their way to make sure we understood all work, and were polite and respectful. Phase 1 went so well that we have hired Tim to do phase 2 - take the kitchen back to studs, move it to a new location, create a laundry room (it’s out of the basement now Yea!) and walk-in pantry, new half bath, change all electrical to white, wood floors, all new doors, new baseboards and crown molding. We are part way through phase 2 and couldn’t be happier. Our home is becoming the beautiful dream home we’ve always wanted. We feel blessed to have found Tim and highly recommend him. We never thought we would be one of those people that love their contractor, but we do."

"Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I took multiple bids on my basement project across basement companies in Columbus. Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. Rating of sales 5/5 Rating of the installation crew 5/5 Rating of management 5/5 Rating of mid-state as a company : 10/5 I do not believe I would have received this level of responsiveness of any of the competitors. I would choose mid-state basements for any basement project I had. Please use my review to know that mid-state basement systems will do the job the right way and how you need it to be done. In my experience, they offer the most fair pricing."

"Buckeye Basements finished approximately 1,000 square feet of our unfinished basement, including a mother-in-law suite with custom bathroom, large entertaining space, custom bar, and craft room. We looked at many potential contractors, and ultimately settled on Buckeye Basements because of the vision they had for the basement at a very reasonable price. Top-notch workmanship, terrific service, on-time delivery. Jon and his team were just terrific. We especially appreciated his vision for designing basements -- he's done a lot of custom basements -- and his focus at the framing stage of trying to take advantage of every inch of the basement, by moving pipes, drains, etc."

"We are so thankful that we chose Premier Remodeling to build our new kitchen. After interviewing a number of possible contractors, we were impressed by Jeff (the owner) and his knowledge, insights and suggestions regarding the project. We were also impressed by the fact that he is a second generation cabinet maker, and when we saw photos of the wooden boat he and his father built, we were convinced he could handle any unique problems that came up in the kitchen project. Greg, was the person who was on site every day and personally did much of the work. He was beyond amazing. His careful attention to detail (from removing a wall to making sure each outlet was correctly aligned) was like he was doing the project in his own home. Greg made sure everything was as it should be, even if it meant more work for him. At the end of each day, he would make sure everything was cleaned up and put away to minimize any inconvenience on our part. He was also a pleasure to have around. In fact, when the project was over, we felt a tinge of bittersweet as he would not be around the house anymore. Our project was somewhat unique as one wall of cabinets made a 45 degree turn. While 90 degree turns (any corner) are easy as there are cabinets made for that purpose, a 45 degree turn requires considerable adjustments and craftsmanship. Jeff and Greg were totally up to the challenge. Jeff even customized the drawers as necessary to give us the maximum storage space possible. Throughout the entire project we never had a problem or issue with Jeff or Greg, even when we made a last second change or two, they were most agreeable to comply with our wishes. We TOTALLY recommend without any reservations or hesitations. Great quality work, reasonable pricing, excellent quality people who earn (and keep) your admiration and respect."
