Then they went silent for 2 months. It is October and we sing contract in August, we finally got response that the contractor got busy with larger projects...This is very disrespectful and non professional behavior."

"In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result. We can’t say enough about Christian’s work and we are proud to call him friend. "Horrible company to deal with. They came out to help to bring the elevator to the first floor. It was stuck due to a power outage on the block. They came out at 3pm Thursday and overcharged us overtime and travel time. As you can see from their publish hours 3 pm is within their working hours. They didn't tell us the overtime rate nor tell us that we would be charged over time.The service took under 45 minutes. Smartrise billed us for two hours at 454.00 an hour, total 908.00. When I spoke to Art at the company trying to discuss the proper amount for this service, he used profanity and name calling. Art hung up on me rather than communicate."

"Man was 5 minutes late. We had the baseboards on hand. No other material was needed. He finished the job in 50-55 minutes. Did a Excellent job. He could not give me cost of job at this time. We were billed $250.00. After a few calls to office they reduced the invoice to $200.00 for less than 1 hours work. We have used them over the years for our home in Lemon Grove ( shutters and carpets). Also at our home in La Mesa for complete window coverings. Will no longer use them or REFER THEM TO OUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS!"
